Yummy Thai "NEON" - Edit
We had the vegan Tom Yum and the vegan Pad Thai at the NEON food stall. It was super delicious! My husband said the Pad Thai tasted very authentic. The food was prepared very fast, the staff was friendly. We would have loved to eat there once more, however there are so many other delicious options in Gdansk that we wanted to try 😋

Several vegan options is an overstatement! - Edit
It looked like some places have vegan or rather vegetarian options but this place is oriented on tourist that consume beer and meat! We ordered a pizza from Czerwony Piec as they had clearly labeled vegan option and it was nice! But overall slony spichlerz isn’t vegan friendly place. It is clearly very touristy place, quite small, packed with a lot of small restaurant-stands, most of them have no vegan options available

A few vegan options, but pretty tasty - Edit
If someone is visiting Gdańsk with non-vegans/non-vegetarians I definitely recommend going there. For vegans (July 2020) there are maybe 3-4 dishes and sometimes even cake. I think vegans can only eat from Asian “stall” when you can eat soup or salad with tofu and Wakame. Vegetarians have many options to choose from.

Wow, a lot has happened since the last time a review was posted - Edit
I asked in every single booth in the market hall, except 2nd floor, and none of them could offer me something vegan. Some of them didn’t seem to understand the concept of veganism, or they couldn’t remove for example the Mayo from the sushi or they didn’t know if there were eggs in the pasta they where using. Clearly marked vegan options on the menu are thing of the past. I ended up with a burrito from the mexican place, although they didn’t know they used milk in their tortillas

Safe bet - Edit
Since we had a hard time finding vegan food in the Gdansk city center and much of the staff was either not fluid in English or did not understand the concept of veganism Slony Spichlerz was a safe bet. Not too exciting: we had cheeseless pizza with mushrooms which has fantastic dough and was pretty tasty. We also tried the wakame salad with tofu from the Japanese place where you can also get vegan Ramen (which we did not try). We had the vegan breakfast plate from the meze stand which was alright, too. Not too many options to chose from but you don't have to leave hungry or unsatisfied.
