I am absolutely obsessed with Sliver. The ingredients are much better quality that you’ll get anywhere else. They only make 1 pizza per day (and it’s always veg) so just look at the menu for the week and order on a day you like. The pizzas with corn their signature green sauce are amazing.

Good pizza, but only one option daily - Edit
The pizza is always vegetarian, with the ability to make it vegan if requested. The pizza is solid, but you can get vegan pizza at other places for a better price in Southside. The biggest downside is that their business model is that they only serve one type of pizza daily, and if you're not a fan of the daily pizza available which oftentimes can been sorta wacky (I've seen anything from kale to potato to corn), you're out of luck or eating plain (hopefully vegan) cheese, because they don't allow customization.

Read moreThey have three locations around Berkeley and they offer a mad delicious vegetarian/vegan pizza. Each shop makes one kind of pizza a day and you can look online for their daily menu offerings.
Ordering a vegan pizza ($22) means you must get a whole large size portion, which makes for leftovers later. For my pizza, it was a yukon potato, corn pizza with vegan cheese sprinkled on top. The cheese is optional and can be opted out for a less fattening pizza. But if you're gonna go out and enjoy a pizza, you might as well go all the way especially if you're mostly whole foods, plant based normally. I won't tell!
I much prefer the vegan pizza over the vegetarian option. I love the crust here which seems like its made from rice flour - it's a lot chewier than traditional American pizza crusts and less thick. It's certainly not a bad thing though. Coupled with their house made Chimichurri sauce and you got a match made in heaven.

Love Love Love Sliver!! - Edit
I love that Sliver does different pizza toppings daily. Their crust is already vegan and all you have to do is ask for no cheese or vegan cheese. The only downside is that if you are ordering vegan you have to buy the entire pie, you can't just purchase a slice or two.
