Very large SLA with great food - Edit
I’ve been to several SLAs and this is the largest I’ve seen. The food is great, as always. They have many seatings (benches) outside, so great for the summer.
Read moreI used to love SLA, but I noticed that some foods have become less nice. In addition, they added chicken to a few bowls again (after an almost entirely vegan menu). Their main dishes can be served as bowl, salad and sometimes as a wrap.
My favourite foods are Hot mexicana (spicy), Green protein, Soba so good, Spicy tofurama, Peanut stew, Indian dahl and hummus with fresh bread.
I also recommend their smoothies and juices: tasty and fresh.
However, I found their salted caramel ball, brownie, banana bread and homemade lemonade and ice-tea only allright. I also didn’t like their caesar salad, kimchi bowl and falafel bowl that much. It’s a pity they discontinued their cheesecake, because it was my favourite pastry.

Sla serves variety of salads, wraps, warm bowls, smoothies and desserts. As well as super good coffee - what you may not expect. When ordering a salad you can choose a’la cart or create your own - there are plenty of tasty & healthy ingredients to mix and match so you will never get bored. Good choice for dine-in, takeaway and delivery. It’s located just at the entrance to the Vondelpark. You can sit inside or outside.

Went here as it was near my hotel and it looked quite healthy. It was just what I needed as an antidote to all the fatty food I had been eating. The tofu bowl was enormous and full of flavoursome food. Quinoa, brocolli, endamame beans with just the right amount of sauce tricled through to make sure it was not dry.

We ate here a very good and a healthy warm dinner. Staff is friendly. Prices are good. It is opposite the Vondelpark and in a great lively part of Amsterdam.

Got the spicy tofurama bowl - unfortunately they’ve run out of katsu tofu so the lovely lady offered us tempeh instead. The portion was ginormous and so delicious!
