Vegan Poutine - Edit
If it weren’t for the vegan poutine, I would give less stars. ‘The Vegan’ crepe had saturated heavy filling and the crepe itself was too thick to be called a real crepe. My bf did not enjoy his non-vegan ‘Noah’s Ark’ breakfast, but found the vegan poutine to make our breakfast experience better. The staff was pleasant and the cappuccino was nice and foamy. FYI -they only have/had oat milk.

Delicious Vegan Cheese on a Gluten-free/Vegan Crepe - Edit
I had the popeye on a gluten-free/vegan crepe with vegan cheese - idk what cheese they use but it was truly amazing. Partner also enjoyed his crepe with strawberry compote. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Vegan default option was solid! Crispy seitan! - Edit
Food was solid, should have used some sauce. But a great vegan for pre a long drive. Filling without being too heavy.

Tasty, Filling, But Not a Lot of Variety - Edit
I ordered the Vegan Monster on a chickpea crepe and it was delicious. I was just a little sad that there wasn’t more to pick from on the menu for vegans without heavily modifying, it just seems like it would be really easy to keep vegan whipped cream or vegan cheese on hand.

Best Crepes in VT - Edit
The crepes here are amazing. Great flavors and varieties of savory and sweet. Conscious of folks with food allergies. The line looked long in the begining but only waited like 15 min to get in around 10am and were served food fairly quickly. The beets and sweets are awesome. We had the vegan monster crepe and it was delicious. They get their Seitan nice and crispy 🤤

Don’t bother - Edit
They only have 2 vegan crepe options and they’re both savory. I wanted something sweet but they have no vegan replacement for their whip cream or hazelnut spread. We ended up with a dry crepe with some fruit on it. Was not good and it took forever. Plus they still upcharged us for having a vegan crepe even though we didn’t get the spread or whip. 😑

Vegetarian friendly, but only so so for vegans - Edit
This place does have a dedicated vegan section that has two vegan choices for you. Everything else can be ordered with the vegan gluten free crispy shell, but then you still have to specify how to make it vegan. Most of it cannot be made 100% vegan with all the ingredients (like cheese or hazelnut spread or whipped cream - can't veganize that), so you just cut out ⅔ of the ingredients and think that you should've just ordered one of the two vegan options (one has a veggie and seitan medley; the other is hash, slaw, pico de gallo and jalapeños). Still, you can ask for crepes to be sweet with just fruit and maple syrup and/or powdered sugar.
Read moreThey have a few other non-crepe items like sandwiches/ burgers (none are vegan/ veg*n), salads and sides (nachos, poutine, hash), but it's supposed to be famous for crepes, so I doubt there is much interest in the other things here. Again, much is vegetarian, but you have to assert your vegan needs to make things surely be vegan.
Overall, go here if you are dragged by others who are not vegan and can't convince them otherwise for a better choice and know you will not starve. However, you will probably not be very happy while everyone else raves about their food.
Pros: Vegan crepes
Cons: Not very vegan friendly

Vegan options taste terrible - Edit
I've eaten here 3 times because I had no other food options around each time (weird circumstances) but their vegan/gf crepes are so expensive, dry, and pretty empty. Really not worth the time and money. Sorry I gave them several chances :/

Food isn’t great - Edit
I had the skinny vegan and it was really bland and the crepe was dry. The other people I was with (also some non-vegans) did not really care for their food either.

Womp, womp... - Edit
Skinny pancake could definitely try harder. Most things on their menu that could be vegan are not (hash browns have eggs, no vegan pastries, most crepes revolve around cheese and have no good substitute). We have tried their vegan crepe options several times, and are ALWAYS disappointed. Their seitan has the consistency of dry rubber. We can’t bring ourselves to go here anymore. Sure, you can eat if dragged along by friends or family, but the experience is a real gamble. Best of luck.

vegan crepes not good :( - Edit
i really wish they would improve on the vegan crepes. they crumble and fall apart and are nearly impossible to eat. you can add seitan which is nice but it starts to get expensive if you add too much. overall really disappointing

Vegan Option not tasty - Edit
The vegan crepe was not good. Although the rest of the party enjoyed their non-vegan options, my vegan/gluten-free crepe tasted akin to cardboard. On the good side, I like Skinny Pancakes' youthful energy and atmosphere, and they have great music,.

Nothing Vegan - Edit
I went to the Skinny Pancake in the Burlington airport. The menu had one vegan crepe and one veggie crepe that could easily be veganized. I ordered, but five minutes later, an employee told me that they were all out of the vegan chickpea batter they normally use and didn't have flour to make any kind of fresh vegan batter. Got a refund. Disappointed.

delicious gluten free and vegan crepes! - Edit
I had the chickpea batter option for my Nutella-filled crepe. The batter was a bit on the savory side compared to regular wheat-based crepe but it was delicious! It was so good (and so rare to be able to find crepes which are both vegan and gluten free) that I went back for the exact same treat the same day. Highly recommend it.

good food and great staff - Edit
Got the chance to customize an order of crepe made from the chickpea batter. They actually messed up the order and, without me knowing, I ended up eating half of this. The waitress notified me as soon as she knew and replaced it offering anything else on the menu. The portions were large and food was quick.

A Few Vegan Choices - Edit
If you get a veggie monster less the cheese plus extra spinach, it is very good. They also have a vegan offering. Disappointed that their grilled red peppers come from a can.
