Not exactly as advertised - Edit
Phoned ahead to ask about dine in, and she said we could come in but only for thali platters. When we arrived she said there was no dine in. So we got the thali platters for takeout. The platter came with 3 vegetarian curries, rice, 2 sweets, naan, and was supposed to also have pickled veg. Ours came with no pickled veg, and the creamy vegetable curry was a lot like a white person chowder. Naan was a lot denser and dryer and was more similar to flatbread. Chana masala was really really good. Saag paneer was okay. Samosa had a different type of crust but it made it more stable. Overall it was tasty but just not really what was advertised and told to us.

Delicious!!!!!! - Edit
Sizzling Dhaba has been my go-to to-go place during COVID times. If I could give five stars to a meat-serving restaurant, I would. It's that good.
Read moreMy newly discovered favourite dish is the Dam Alu (a potato curry). It's sweet and spicy and I can't get enough. I also love the Alu Chole, Alu Ghobi, and the Chana Masala. I recently tried the Alu Palak but it wasn't for me. You definitely have to be a spinach lover for that one. I really want to try the Bhindi Masala sometime.
I always order their curries mild because I am a coward. Mild is still spicy for me, but that's the same at literally every Indian restaurant I have ever been to. (I cannot overstate how much my palate is not built to handle spiciness.)
Pro tip: If you can, order directly from Sizzling Dhaba, not through Skip the Dishes or Door Dash. (Unfortunately, this has to be pick-up. Sizzling Dhaba doesn't deliver themselves) BECAUSE you will save money. They include rice or a naan with each dish.
Sizzling Dhaba is now a family favourite. We all (including the meat eaters) love it.
Pros: Kindhearted staff, Some of the best food ever

Love this place! - Edit
Amazing food, super nice staff, lots of vegan options and they’re pretty quick! Food is usually ready in 20-30 mins which is great for take-out but they always have the buffet if you dont have a lot of time. They also give free rice with every order😄

My go-to - Edit
I love that there are always at least three main dishes on the buffet that are vegan, plus samosas and veggie pakoras. They will even make you a fresh chapatti without butter in place of the nan that would normally come with it, and they offer the buffet to go, in very generous portions.
Read moreIf wanting food for a large enough group, the will even make items not on the menu, like a soy curry, and vegan veggie korma. The owner said that if they had more vegan customers, they would be able to offer these items more regualarly
