Goreme in general is a good place for a vegan, most restaurants offer some vegetarian options (and many of them are vegan), but it can be a little stressful searching in the menu and trying to understand Turkish. So for a dinner I wanted to be sure of eating vegan and we found this place. Good food served on a beautiful terrace in a relaxing atmosphere.

I was pumped to eat at a fully vegan restaurant in a place where you’d never expect one, but this was a disappointment. For starters, the windows were open and everything was covered in dust from nearby construction, which was LOUD by the way. But that’s not their fault I guess.
Read moreThe food: I had a tempeh rice bowl which was alright, but half of the bowl was just white rice. For the price, that’s a bit of a joke. There were 2 pieces of tempeh and some veg, but with half the bowl being rice I mean come on, it should be cheaper.
Now for the real nightmare: the “mac and cheese”. I’ve been vegan for over 13 years and my partner over 5 years, and this is the worst vegan “mac and cheese” either of us have tasted. It tasted like soy milk, that carton taste. It had no cheesy taste at all. I have no idea how they thought it could pass as mac and cheese and charge like €9 for it.
I don’t think they’re bad people running the place, the opposite, but when there are other restaurants with better vegan options and more reasonable prices in the area, it’s frustrating that the only fully vegan place is so disappointing!

The location is beautiful and service is good but the food could’ve been better. I would’ve liked more local dishes to choose from. Really liked the Lentil Köfta but the Mac and Cheese was boring. My partner had the burger which was “decent”.

Let me start by saying this the only plant based restaurant in all of Cappadocia. It does however share spaces as two restaurants one that is traditional Turkish food.
Read moreEsin, the owner is a rockstar. She is super sweet, full of infectious energy and charm. She does a real good job of explaining the dishes, making recommendations and accommodations, and helping you feel very comfortable at her establishment.
I came here I believe 4 times to eat. I really enjoyed all the dishes. They make every dairy product from scratch which is a plus to me. My favorite dish was the falafel bowl, great presentation, full of flavors and tasty delight. I also enjoyed the Mac and cheese, which came with a green salad. Chickpea wrap was very delicious. The fries are really on point and the vegan mayo they make is so good! I was also there at a good time where u got to sample a possible future baklava on the menu. I also recommend the lentil soup and the soya burger. The soy burger had a lot of good flavors. One of my favorites was the complimentary bread with olive oil and zataar. That zataar is something special to me.
Can't say enough about the restaurant that made me feel at home. The decor and the view is already a win but the hospitality and service just tops everything off. I hope to come back here some day. 🙏

So nice to find healthy vegan options. The tomato soup was amazing. Especially on such a rainy cold day. My boyfriend inhaled his burger and my chickpea wrap was pretty good. Completely forgot to get the Mac and cheese as well but I’m sure it was delicious.

Boring food and lack of availability - Edit
Although I would like to support the only vegan restaurant in town, I must say that my visit was disappointing. A lot of dishes were not available and the once we had were boring and not well cooked. The burger bread was not edible, the mayonnaise had no flavour and the fries were no real fries. Also, the place it not fully vegan anymore since they host a second, non vegan restaurant in the same place. A guy was repairing the card machine making a lot of noise when we were there which made our visit uncomfortable.

We were so excited to see there was actually a plant-based restaurant in Göreme! Went there one night for dinner and had a great meal. Food was freshly prepared and tasted really good. Especially the deserts were amazing. Staff is also really friendly and there’s a great view from the restaurant. Would definitely come back next time I come to visit!

Very well prepared, well presented, delicious vegan meals. The raw desserts are also excellent. The service is polite and efficient. Over two visits can suggest the raw tart, the rice bowl and even the mac and cheese is very good.

I went twice with my mother! The food is DELICIOUS and the view is breathtaking! Try to go during sunset for an amazing view and then go up to the rooftop for a beautiful fireplace! Literally the best vegan restaurant I have been in my life (and the price is cheaper than most restaurants in Capadoccia)!

It’s fancy, but nice. Delicious, good service, and a separate small menu for meat eaters upon request. Not going to lie, it does feel good for them to have to ask for an option or a side menu for a change. Burger bun was kind of hard and the Mac and cheese was 80 lira for pasta and cashew cheese with nothing else in it. I requested the add some veggies like broccoli, but it wasn’t much. We all know vegans eat the rainbow, so while it’s nice to have these foods, I want to also know they’re packed with the vitamins and nutrients we need for the day. Overall nice.

We went there twice, the staff is really friendly and very professional. The food is really tasty and there are options for everyone. The location is also great with a nice view. They are quite new at that location/in this setup and I really hope business is taking up for them. Also great for non-vegans ;)

Only vegan place in Goreme - Edit
We had a very nice experience in Sisters’ Plant Based, both because of yummy food and very friendly service. Some people mentioned portions were small but the portions were very good and fulfilling and great value for money! They also welcomed our dog. (many places in Cappadocia do not accept pets although there are loads of them on streets and everywhere)

I ate soup and sister’s salad and my friend falafel burger. Thinking about prices and what we ate, it doesnt match. The soup was very ordinary and the salad i had was one bunch of rocket leaves with a bit of tofu and some watermelon.

World class WFPB dishes... - Edit
This is an absolute gem located right next to the Göreme Open Air Museum Parking Area. Make sure you order some extra food. We ordered only one extra bowl but I wish I had ordered at least one more bowl. The lady that runs the truck was very polite, courteous, and has not wasted any time with the prep process. Overall we are EXTREMELY happy with the service and the taste.
