It’s totally all Right - Edit
Very nice staff and unique location. The food was totally all right but nothing special. It’s more a bar, than a restaurant, so don’t expect too much. The menu seems to have shrinked, so I just had the option for the vegan burger. It was a pita with a beyond meat patty, some onions, tomatoes and a nice sauce.

Cons: Limited options, Very basic bar food

Clearly labeled and decent - Edit
After trying a few places that Happy Cow had told us had vegan options available (they rotated their menus since the last vegan had been here, it seems), we have Sirkus a try. They have clearly labeled vegan and vegetarian options, and my partner and I got the vegan burger. It was perfectly acceptable, although still a bit cold in the center. Fried were delicious though! We also enjoyed a beer (me) and a tea (her).

Nothing special, but the burger was fine. I liked the tahini sauce on it.

Saving Grace - Edit
We ate here 3x during our 10 day trip. This is the only restaurant we went to in the Faroe Islands that did not first give me a non-vegan meal after ordering a vegan meal.
Read moreBoth the vegan burger on pita and the falafel were excellent. We also enjoyed the beers. Definitely the best bet for vegans in the Faroes, but I’d love to see even more vegan options next time we visit in a few years😄

Good dining option for vegans in Torshavn - Edit
This bar is situated in the center of Torshavn and offers a few tasty vegan dishes. The dishes are quite average. But as there are not many dining options for vegans in Torshavn, this bar is the perfect place for a dinner. The ambience there is also nice.

Veganburger and Falafelpita - Edit
We were here twice. I had the Veganburger and the Falafelpita. Both was really, really good. The only downside was that we waited 50 min for the food, but totally worth it. They habe a great variety of beer from Iceland and Faroese Islands, that was also cool.

Great bar with food - Edit
This is a cute, fun bar and the staff is super friendly. The food was OK. I got the veggie steak (basically a veggie burger) with salsa. The salsa was from a jar, so I probably wouldn’t get it again, but I know some people like salsa from a jar.
Read moreI don’t know what other vegan restaurant options you’re going to find, however, and I don’t think you’re traveling to the Faroes for the vegan food. I do recommend this place if you want to eat out somewhere in Tórshavn.

So-so food but acceptable under the circumstances - Edit
We came here for dinner during our recent trip to the Faroes. The Indian dish was no longer on the menu and I was given the option of a pita sandwich with a vegan patty or falafel. I chose the latter, which was really basic—a pita pocket stuffed with chopped up falafel (which tasted nothing like falafel) mixed with a simple vinegary slaw. Still I thought it was perfectly acceptable given the extremely limited vegan dining options in Tórshavn. I did like the casual vibe of the cafe and the friendly staff. For better vegan food and a more refined dining experience, I'd highly recommend Frumbiti just a couple minutes up the hill.
