I got the Orange chicken with white rice... it was deeeeelicious❣️ came out hot (temp) and considerably quick (it was not busy when I was there ). The portion was a bit big for me but 💯 worth it #Veganuary

A Veg Place with Vegan Options - Mixed Asian - Edit
Sipz Fusion Cafe is a veggie restaurant that has choices from Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese Cuisines. Almost every item can be made vegan, so there are loads of options! For me, it's a bit overrated. The quality of the ingredients have always seemed lower. But, it's a great place to go with friends, as they have a good selection of Asian beers!
Read morePros: Wide selection of items., Almost everything can be made vegan.
Cons: Ingredients are lower quality, Often too much salt or sugar.

Meh - Edit
I am disappointed. I am a very generous rater; I like most food since I am not picky and like to support veg places, but I can’t give this place more than two stars. The food, even though it’s decent portions, is overpriced for what it is since almost everything became sickly sweet or salty after eating about half. The orange chicken I ordered became so sweet after about half of the meal. Even though I was still hungry, I stopped eating and opted for the plain white rice. The fried rice was mediocre; the cream cheese rangoon, sushi, and tempura shrimp were okay. Definitely not good enough to save the meal. The cheesecake was not for me, but my boyfriend liked it. We ordered take-out, and they forgot our brownie.
Read moreI don’t hate the food, but for the price, and considering San Diego has so many vegan options, I probably won’t eat here again. I expected better due to the reviews, but I understand the appeal. #Veganuary

Delicious - Edit
We got the drunken noodles, caterpillar roll, and crab rangoon, and they were all delicious. The sushi had 8 pieces and the noodle bowl was enormous. Staff were friendly. The crab rangoon was less cream cheesey than I expected but still yum.

Creative creations of Asian food - Edit
Sipz has an extensive menu of vegan options but you have to ask because it is not clear from the menu. The options are really interesting, never had Inari with „ham“ or tempura with walnuts. A big downside for me though is the presentation, even though we dined in the food was served in plastic containers with plastic cutlery.

Just a quick stop - Edit
We stopped in for a quick meal before a concert at the observatory. We only tried 2 rolls fresh summer rolls and the fresh fusion roll. Both were good but I preferred the cushion roll.

quantity over quality - Edit
The portions are giant to the point that my main was sufficient for 3 meals. Veg options are abundant but labeling is ambiguous. I got the peppered pork, which was pretty good, and was also able to try the peanut butter brownie, which was decent, and the lettuce wraps, which were not my thing.

Obsessed with both vegan buns (sunshine or bbq) - weekend only vegan sushi options here and the Clairemont location have been awesome. Not as fancy as The Yasai/The Village, but still killer flavors

Awesome Asian Fusion, Creative Sushi & Vegan Desserts! - Edit
There's so much to love about Sipz! They have a super diverse menu of Asian-fusion dishes, all 100% vegan (including their massive assortment of desserts - so save room!) They also have a fantastic sushi menu Friday-Sunday evenings with super inventive rolls that you won't find anywhere else. (All of which can be ordered with brown rice if you're looking for a healthier carb option.)
Read moreMust tries include:
Crab Rangoon - A fantastic vegan version of the classic. Crispy on the outside with moist vegan crab and plant based cream cheese in the center. Great appetizer!
The Guru Greens Stir Fry - Such a delicious assortment of green things! Broccoli, snow peas, peppers, and bok choy with this light, savory, sauce. Try it with the vegan abalone! (Yes, VEGAN ABALONE!)
San Diego Sunshine Roll - Don't miss this one, it's incredible! Vegan shrimp with thin slices of lemon, jalapeno and fresh cilantro. It's fresh and bright and spicy. So good!
Aloha Roll - This is something really unique that you won't find anywhere else, and it's so good! Pineapple, vegan ham, onion tempura and teriyaki with a spicy mayo. Yum!
Caterpillar Roll - A tasty (and cute) vegan take on the classic Caterpillar Roll, filled with teriyaki shiitake mushrooms and yams.

A solid Asian fusion joint! - Edit
First off, I would come here just for the vegan BBQ pork buns. Literally haven't found them anywhere else, and not just in SD. One of those things I just thought I wouldn't eat as a vegan but glad I was wrong!
Read moreOnly down side of things would be that they don't make things very spicy, even at a level 10.
My favorites are the steam bowl with curry sauce, excellent healthy option amongst the fried choices. Also the curry bowl and king Pao chicken are outstanding. My wife also really likes the Walnut shrimp and I have to say that it's delicious, just make sure to order it with the veganaise.

Good, not great - Edit
This is an okay restaurant, almost completely vegan. Nothing exciting and not as impressive as the Clairemont location, but a good meal nonetheless. Overpriced based on the ingredients, portion sizes, and simplicity of the food, and parking in the area is quite limited, especially evenings and weekends. Not our first choice for vegan Asian food ... more like our 15th, but that’s still pretty good.

We had the crab rangoon, teriyaki chicken, and vegetarian pho, followed by a slice of red velvet cake. Tasty food in generous portions. My only complaint is that our server, who was very nice and friendly, would disappear for long stretches.
