Won’t turn on Uber eats ordering - Edit
Called and spoke to an employee today who refused to turn on the Uber Eats app for online orders. I’m stuck in Clarksville working, and there are very limited vegan options.

We had the vegan curry brat and one of the vegan burgers. There are also salads, sandwiches, vegan pizza (including with vegan cheese and sausage), and baked goods.

Good food, odd business practices - Edit
We really liked the rye pretzel and our sandwiches. We were really excited to go back and try their vegan pastries.
Read moreUnfortunately we had a stressful experience when our friends showed up 30 mins before close to order and the owner said they would only be served bakery items.
We all just wish that that was stated online or at least a sign on the outside of the door so we didn’t waste our time that day. We were all traveling and I had wanted to try this place for a year or two now.
I do recommend people try this place, I just recommend it no later than an hour before close.

The best vegan food - Edit
This is a hidden gem. I have lived here all my life and never had even heard of them. I am vegan and was looking for a vegan restaurant and found them on the Happy Cow app. Beat choice ever! Food was delicious! I give it a 10/10. Will be returning.

Delicious Desserts - Edit
I stopped into Silke's while I was in town to grab some desserts to take back home. They have a variety of desserts to choose from. All of their cupcakes were vegan and gluten free. The chocolate cupcake with strawberry icing is one of the most delicious cupcakes I have ever eaten. I never would have believed it was gluten free either. Just amazing all around.

Vegan Friendly Eating Spot - Edit
One of the owners is vegan so they have some vegan choices, particularly the pizza and they usually have many desserts(cupcakes and other pastries) that are vegan as well. Just make sure to specify when you order pizza as some ingredients need to be modified from what is on the menu.

I stopped here traveling to Nashville from Springfield Illinois. They had many vegan and gluten free options on the menu. The staff was very friendly and German! I had the veggie pizza with vegan cheese and vegan sausage. For dessert, I had vegan coconut and chocolate chip cupcakes. In highly recommend silkes!

Best Vegetarian in town!!!!! - Edit
Silke's has a complete vegetarian menu offering many truly delicious options. Each dish I have tried has a robust and full flavor that seems to be executed with perfection. Their sandwiches, soups and pizzas never cease to amaze me. You can always tell when a vegetarian owns a restaurant and in this case you can tell that Silke's dishes have been perfected over years!!

If you have never tried it then you are missing out! You will be pleasantly surprised and then hooked because it is so good! This is by far this is the best vegetarian food I have EVER HAD and I recommend this restaurant to everyone! My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it! ... YUM!
