Such good food, would absolutely recommend the Nasi Campur! The crispy mushrooms are so so good. Had to wait quite a while for the food but that was clearly mentioned and everything was cooked fresh which was great.

My Favourite Warung - Edit
This has been our go-to warung for our family during the last 3 years we’ve lived in Ubud, we’ve been many many times. Everything on the vegan menu is delicious and is like home-style cooking, made with consistently fresh and tasty ingredients, very affordable, and it’s always the same high quality every time. My favourites are nasi campur, kare siboghana, and gado-gado. It’s in a nice location within a Balinese family home and the staff are always warm and friendly. If there are many other people, you may have to wait longer for your food to be served, though you can order in advance and/or have your food takeaway.

Perfection - Edit
Best nasi campur in Bali. Generous portions of delicious food, including fresh vegetable urap, delicately seasoned veg/tempe/tofu curry, crunchy fried gorengan, red rice (white rice also available), and bongkot (ginger torch flower) sambal to die for. If we are having a bad day, Siboghana makes it better.
Read moreWe call ahead and get nasi campur takeout weekly... always with extra sambal. We have never ordered anything else, the nasi campur is too good, and an excellent value at 60k for two.
Siboghana is also great for dine-in, a spacious outdoor pavilion in a beautiful, traditional family compound, with mandala paintings and old garden specimens that somehow make it feel upscale and homey and peaceful, especially when it starts to rain.
This is one of the few places in Bali where we (American and Java couple) feel equally comfortable bringing local and foreign friends. I dream of bringing my mom here someday, post-covid. Also perfect for a cozy date night. No condescending or aspirational tourist vibe, just high quality, authentic food.
Pros: Perfect nasi campur, Cozy and beautiful atmosphere, Excellent value

Here is a place where you can eat a normal portion for a fair and cheap price. Dishes are really tasty, it's always a good moment to go there. We totally recommend their Nasi Campur and the Kare Siboghana.

First of all service is friendly, but really slow. Was the first customer and waited about 45 minutes for my food. So definitely bring some time.
Read moreNasi campur is good (30 000) and the crispy mushrooms are amazing; mie/nasi goreng (was really oily) and sate jamur (was drenched in peanut sauce) weren't that great.
Everything is vegan and cooked in coconut oil though.

Peaceful warung in Ubud - Edit
Probably one of the best warungs in Ubud. Placed in very peaceful and calm place. Stuff is very friendly. Menu is split in two categories - appetizers and mains - but portions are the same. There are few types of soups. Everything tastes great

Fresh home-cooked food - Edit
I went to Siboghana Waroeng twice during my stay in Ubud. It is right across ARMA but a little difficult to find. You need to go into the small street off the main road and up a few stairs before you find the place. The food is freshly prepared and hence takes a bit long. But the beautiful relaxing environment of the restaurant makes the wait worth it. I had the Mie Goreng, Lumpia and Banana Cake. Everything was delicious. I definitely recommend doing to this home style restaurant when in Ubud.

Inexpensive Food, Homecooked. Excruciating time to receive food - Edit
The great thing is the food is very very very inexpensive but be prepared to wait. Up to an hour. Definitely do not come here if youre very hungry or in a rush. They take an excruciating amount of time to prepare even the simplest thing. I.e. fried mushrooms or any appetizer in general. Doesnt matter what you order it will take a long time. Both times I visited I waited over 45 mins to receive my food. Its great local prices and the food is very traditional in taste. Just wish it didnt take as long. Its honestly difficult. Maybe i just had a poor experience. I dont mind waiting 30 mins for food. But an hour is definitely hard. If youre on a budget go here. But if you have work or things to do during your day either bring it with or go somewhere else. You will be here a LONG TIME.
