Massive serving of food - Edit
I ordered the Biryani for $7 and it was served immediately.
Read moreI got a massive pile of rice, chickpeas, a gravy and yogurt on the side. It was spicy (hot) and packed with flavour. I managed to get over 3/4 of the way through before having to tap out. I was so full. You can probably share this with someone else and maybe get smaller plates elsewhere. Very filling and flavourful!
(Side note: I also appreciate having the option here, as otherwise it is quite difficult to enjoy a Hawker Centre experience like Lau Pa Sat as most stalls are meat centred.)

The guy serving here was nice enough. He didn't though seem to have any idea of what vegan means. Having watched them liberally slap contents on to the hot plate from a big tin labelled "ghee", I regret I personally have little if any confidence that they protect dishes from dairy cross contamination.

really tasty dosa and panipuri - Edit
went here because uniquely vegetarian was closed and it was very close by but glad we did anyway because both dishes we had were super tasty. masala dosa and a panipuri dish both came with side curries/sauces, the picture on the menu didn’t look like a lot but the portion was generous. staff understand when i asked if the dish was vegan which is always super helpful. really good value for money as well.
