Traditional experience

As we were waiting in the queue we saw how big are the pots, so we decided to share one and it was a very good decision. We ordered the pumpkin pot. The taste was great, but for such a big pot it had only one piece of tofu and two pieces of pumpkin. Very nice experience though in traditional Japanese style rooms.

Pros: Kind and helpful staff , English menu

Cons: Only 2 vegan options

Beautiful traditional restaurant

Wonderful experience eating at this beautiful restaurant. I had the traditional pumpkin noodles, super good. Extremely large portion so I would share with a friend next time.

Shoya

My partner and I both got the Mushroom Hoto noodle soups. Big portions in traditional style bowls and with scoops. They come loaded with fancy mushrooms, tofu, squash, onions, carrots, cabbage and some other veggies. You won’t leave feeling hungry that’s for sure. Super delicious and the atmosphere was great. There is also an English menu available and all the staff are well versed enough in English.
