5 star delicious!!! - Edit
Only select few options, minimal but SO delicious! Spicy white natural ramen was everything I could have wanted! And the cucumber slices was also amazing! 10/10

Plenty of vegan options! - Edit
They asked for allergies about the beginning and I said I was vegan, to which they replied that there were plenty of options. Great hearty broth.

Bueno! - Edit

it’s ok, pleasant - Edit
It was a satisfying meal but nothing much. The ramen was not particularly tasty, the tofu and vegetables did not have much flavour. The good thing was the location which especially for a tourist is a real gem after a day walking around the city's museums, in fact the place is very cosy and nice.

Okay if you're going with omnis - Edit
The food was decent and not too expensive for London prices, but there were only three vegan options and two were very spicy so I avoided those. The bamboo had an overwhelming urea taste.
Read moreThe bao bun was nice, but very spicy for me.
It's fine if it's your only option and you're going with a large group of omnis, but I wouldn't choose to go again.
The staff were also not very friendly - at the beginning they asked if we had any allergens, I said no but I am vegan, and they rolled their eyes and ignored me.

Good but not great - Edit
Had dinner here, I had ramen with tofu. It tasted good, but not special. I would say it could do with some more complexity. I liked that you can choose if you want your noodles to be cooked standard, hard or extra hard. Staff was friendly. Not a bad choice to have dinner by any means, but also not a place you can't miss.
Read morePros: Good portion size , Vegan options clearly labelled, Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Taste is okay, but mostly salty.

Great place - Edit
There are 3 vegan options of ramen now. Tried the Spicy White Natural. Delicious! Could have some more tofu though. Very nice ambience and staff. Recommend and would come back.

Decent ramen - Edit
Only one vegan ramen option but this was nice, albeit a bit salty. Liked the range of mushrooms and good portion size. Restaurant is big and only small wait on the weekends if you don’t book. Friendly service #Veganuary

Not sure if the pumpkin curry is vegan but definitely amazing and my go to for a vegetarian. My brother really likes their ramen too. The pumpkin bun is also very good.

Shoryu Ramen - Edit
This is the second Shoryu I've dined at in London and I like this one less than the St. James location. I think this locatoin tries to be hip and cool...everyone was also repeating the same Japanese phrases (i.e., Irasshaimase, Arigato, Doitashimashite).
Read moreShoryu offers two vegan ramen options (hooray)! However, I ordered the vegan spicy ramen and left slightly disappointed. Why you might ask? Well, because the tofu and broccoli were very cold. I suspect they premade these items and neglected to keep them warm / warm them up. This made the dish much less enjoyable, but given that I hadn't had a proper meal in 24 hours, I ate it. However, I probably won't be back when there's tons of other nearby vegan-friendly places.

Vegan ramen just ok - Edit
We tried both types of vegan ramen they have in the menu. They were tasty but nothing special. Another Asian restaurant chain in London has much better vegan ramen.
Read moreWe also ordered edamame and Spanish Padron peppers, the second one just out of curiosity as we live in Spain and we were wondering what a typical Spanish dish is doing in an Asian restaurant - we asked the waiter but he wasn't able to answer. The peppers were tasty but the portion was tiny and totally overpriced (7,5 pounds).
I wouldn't come back.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Overpriced, Vegan ramens just ok, Little space in the restaurant

Yummmen - Edit
Haven’t had ramen in awhile because most of them are rarely vegan but I’ve had a choice to get my ramen cravings fixed and thoroughly enjoyed the hot soup in the cold cold London weather! Ramen comes with tofus.

Ramen for everyone - Edit
Two vegetarian ramens available, which are suitable for vegans as well. The one I had was good but not remarkable. Service was really fast, but the place was packed and too noisy even for the higher Spanish standars.

Best ramen ever - Edit
Don’t be put off by the limited vegan options. It’s some of the best food I’ve ever had. The vegan and vegetarian options were very clearly labeled (they even had separate labels for the vegan dishes!) I got a black tofu starter and a white natural ramen bowl and they were both delicious. They’re also very conscious of allergies, asking if we had any when they took our order and bringing me their allergy guide just to double check my food would be okay when I said I was allergic to almonds. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It’s not a big place, so I would recommend booking a table if you plan to go here (we just picked somewhere nearby when we were out and about). We had to wait outside for about 15 minutes for a table to come available, but they have a big stand heater outside and a good awning, so even in the cold and rain we were perfectly cozy while we waited.
Read morePros: Delicious, Friendly, Food came very quickly
Cons: Limited vegan options (but so worth it!), Kind of noisy (can still have a conversation)

Bustling little ramen shop - Edit
Very quick in and out meals with little queues when we went.
Read moreVery tasty ramen and authentic to japan quality ramen(for vegans anyway). Ramen also has soft/medium/firm option.
Posted some starters which was also very tasty.
Menu clearly marked for vegans too. They asked for allergies and upon telling them my egg/crustacean allergy they said they'd prep mines with clean utensils.
Pros: Vegan ramen! (Thick broth), Starter options(black tofu different but tasty), Clearly marked menu and allergy service
Cons: No baos/buns for vegan , Our waitress offered us vegetarian options...
