Serves meat, vegan options available. Trinidadian restaurant serving classics such as plates, roti and doubles (street food from Trinidad and Tobago consisting of fried flatbreads & curry). Roti and doubles are vegan, with fillings including curry potato & channa (spiced chickpea curry), pumpkin, callaloo (stewed dish of greens, tomatoes & onions), mango curry, and more. Vegan offerings may change depending on the day. All fillings can also be ordered as a plate with rice & peas. Vegan drinks include fresh sorrel, passion fruit juice, Trini style orange juice, grapefruit juice, and more. Open Mon-Sat 10:00am-6:00pm.

Tasty and filling food for good prices - Edit
I’ve been coming to this roti shop since I was a kid and was super excited when I learned it reopened as Shorty’s under management from a family member of the original owner. Truly delicious Trini food, if you haven’t tried roti or doubles definitely stop in. Lots of veg options and the owner is always very kind and will make sure to tell you what veg options there are and what guide you if you’re new to Trini food. Also try the fresh juices while you’re there
