Fantastic!

I really do love Shop 225! Really great pizzas and lots of vegan options (sometimes even dessert!). Additional chilli and cashew parmesan served alongside pizza. Can't recommend enough!

The Best Pizza in Melbourne!

Hands down the most delicious pizza in Melbourne. I literally cannot eat pizza anywhere else after eating here. The dough is soft and chewy and salty and the toppings are all amazing. They have definitely nailed the vegan pizzas! YUMMMM! Not to mention how lovely the owners and staff are. Highly recommended. I would rate it 5 stars if possible!

Pros: Very tasty, Friendly environment, Quality produce

5 stars!

The best pizza in Melbourne. As the other comment says, definitely deserves 5 stars. Half of the menu is able to be made vegan by swapping the non vegan toppings for a quality vegan version. Perfectly chewy bases. I wasn't sure what to expect from a non veg place but they've really made an effort to make and source quality vegan products with great attention to detail. The owner is so friendly and loves what she does. Can't wait to go back.

worth another try

I'd been looking forward to trying this pizza for so long, I probably set myself up for a little disappointment. I phoned in my order for a vegan version of their il Dottore with porcini and sausage. It was ready to go when I arrived to pick it up 20 min later and the staff were really sweet and friendly. I couldn't resist trying a slice on the tram on the way home. Piping hot, I didn't really appreciate the subtle flavours. It'd cooled a lot by the time I got home and that allowed the flavours to come through more. I polished the whole thing off with a curly endive salad. The base is deliciously chewy, reminding me of the amazing Sfizy Veg in Neukölln. The toppings fell short a bit for me. The sausage in particular was pretty flavourless and a bit mealy in texture. Cheese was nice and creamy but not totally melted so maybe it could've done with a bit longer in the oven. I'd try a pizza with more veggie toppings next time - I reckon they'd be tastier. Dunno if it's really worth more than $20 for a pizza but would try again.

Pros: delicious base, notzarella

Cons: expensive , sparse toppings

deserves 5 stars!

Amazing little pizza shop.
They are very new and they assure me they are going to expand the vegan menu. Nonetheless when they are quiet they are happy to make up a pizza for you. I went in there recently and ordered 4 vegan pizzas and let the chef (owner) decide, and we got 4 of the most delicious varied pizzas. The other owner runs the floor and is so sweets and welcoming.

Pros: cheap San Pellegrino water, generous use of vegan cheese, best pizzas bases I've ever tasted

Cons: not licensed
