TASTIEST DAHL IN THE SHOPS

I tried the Roots and Shoots Green Lentil Dahl - after buying many other Dahl products in different shops- This is one of the best Dahls I've ever tasted- and I've eaten lots of Dahl when travelling in India many times. The Roots & Shoots Dahl tastes really fresh, like its just been made- and the flavours are blended- whereas some other products taste powdery or the spices aren't mixed well. I bought a 400g tub- there was enough for two meals along with my own rice and some other Veg. Some other products for the same price 3.99 euro only have one serving for that price. This is a great product- and really handy for when you want a quick meal to heat up. I love it!!

Pros: Freshness, Flavour, 400gm Portion pot is good value- serves 2

Vegan burgers

I've had the sweet potato burger from here a couple of those. It's really tasty and other get a generous choice of three salads on the side. It's really nice to have these vegan options at the markets as there wasn't much to choose from before.

Pros: Good salad selection

Cons: pricey

Delicious and Healthy Food

Shoots and Roots are super friendly and have a fantastic selection of yummy plant based food including quiches, veggie-burgers, gorgeous desserts and salads. I've been buying my Saturday lunch there for a few years and love them!
