Modern small restaurant on the 3rd floor and is somewhat hidden so look for it. Menu includes choices like veggie croquette, curry, and faux meat cutlets. Kitchen uses organic vegetables and bakes breads and muffins. Staff is knowledgeable about veganism. Gets busy. Has parking. Open Mon 11:30am-3:00pm, Wed-Sun 11:30am-3:00pm. Last order 4:30pm.

10/10 would recommended

The food here is incredible. The staff are very careful to make sure everything is vegan if you tell them, “bi-gan des.” The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I was so happy they were open when we got to Fukushima.
If you find it hard to Google the location, just search for “Hitoto” without Shokudo before it. Google doesn’t have the first word. It’s on the 3rd floor and there is a plant shop on the 2nd floor.

Creative and amazing taste

In the middle of a cool area of Fukushima centre, this place has a great creative vibe. I had the full lunch set, with several amazing dishes, making up an eclectic and very tasty meal. I will definitely come back and bring my friends. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I also took home an artisan walnut bread for tomorrow. Thank you so much

There's now a really cool vegan restaurant in Fukushima city!

Loved the feel of this place. Had a kinda 'Tokyo' vibe to it. Trendy atmosphere, very friendly staff and delicious veggie food. Everything on the menu is usually 100% vegan BUT, on rare occasions they might have one fish dish.
It's quite a small restaurant and by noon there was a small queue of people waiting to get seats. A good sign of good food! The menu is in Japanese. There are a limited number of parking spaces in the car park to the side of the building. Check with staff for more details. Visited again on the 26th May '18. 2:45pm, straight in, and wonderful friendly service & atmosphere.

Pros: Nice atmosphere Great food parking available

Cons: Gets busy, might need to wait a bit to get seated , menu is only in Japanese.
