disappointing - Edit
The only reason I didn't rate this restaurant a 2 is because my husband really enjoyed the naan which not vegan. We put in a to go order. I ordered Navratan korma with coconut milk . The menu description listed using fresh vegetables. These seemed frozen to me the blend with broccoli and carrots. Nothing special and overcooked veggies. We asked for a military discount and received one, which we appreciate. However, a 20% tip was automatically added to bill and this was a to go order. The check did not have the 20% addition prior to asking for military discount. The manager could have been the owner and didn't seem to thrilled to be there. We are on vacation. When we come back, I will NOT return to Shiva Indian Restaurant.

Will definitely eat here again! - Edit
The owner was very accommodating when my omni daughter and I split an appetizer and she made separate sauces for us. I'd like to see another dessert option other than Lassi (especially something with cardamon). There are lots of food and bread options.

Many vegan labeled options - Edit
A great little Indian restaurant in the heart of Mount Dora. So many dishes to choose from. Some are labeled vegan and others say can be made vegan. You can choose how spicy you want the food. I would definitely visit again.
