It was ok - Edit
The breakfast burritos here aren't really "burritos". Think more "wrap". That somewhat pedantic bit aside, vegan breakfast wrap sounded like it'd be great, but it was just ok. The sweetness of the yam was overpowering and didn't have much else to counteract it. I ended up drowning it with the tomatillo salsa. The omnivore husband had a similar take on his breakfast selection. The chai latte was decent, as was the coffee. It's a very popular spot especially if the weather is nice, so the wait can be long (around 20-25 minutes for coffee and food) and it's rather loud indoors. If you can, snag seating outside. I can't speak to the lunch items, as between the frenetic vibe, the crowd, the somewhat disinterested staff, and the so-so food, we opted not to come back.

Fun place in a gorgeous setting - Edit
I really liked that the Vegan Burrito tasted fresh and healthy, and the tortilla seemed to be whole wheat. It had more yam than anything else, which was okay because I like yams, though I would have preferred a more even amount of the various fillings. I did notice some of the smoky tofu as well, which I liked. The side salsa was pico de gallo instead of the green tomatillo listed on the menu - could be they just ran out.
Read moreAs for the restaurant itself, it’s in a gorgeous setting with a sunroom as the main dining room and additional seating outside. The decor is fun and funky. It’s a lovely place to have a bite and spend some time. Or take it all in with a coffee or tea if you’re not hungry.
Pros: Ambience/decor, Healthy vegan options in a remote area, Pretty tasty
Cons: More vegan options would be nice

Coffee Oat Mocha! Yum! - Edit
My partner and I both ordered the oat mocha for our drive back to Vancouver. It was really good, we’d love to come back and try other things on the menu. I love that they have vegan options 🌱

Surely, delicious! - Edit
We visited during our holiday in Sooke and tried the vegan yam burrito. The food was affordable, fresh, filling, and very flavourful. The atmosphere of the cafe perfectly suited the setting and offered both an outdoor patio and a covered seating section, which was ideal for a nice sunny day in September. They have a great beverage selection that can substitute almond or oat milk for any of their drinks, as well as a few vegan desserts to choose from. We will certainly be returning here on our next trip, and would recommend anyone visiting to stop by for a fulfilling meal at this lovely place!

Vegan Food in a remote setting - Edit
We were happy to find vegan options in this tiny little town on our Pacific Marine Circle road trip. We had a very satisfying breakfast burrito and veggie scramble (subbed tofu for eggs). Wonderful coffee drinks as well. We were well nourished for our day of hiking and sightseeing!

Shirley delicious - Edit
When I went there they had a vegan breakfast burrito, it was so delicious! They had a couple other vegan options for breakfast as well. They also didn’t forget about the vegans when doing up their baked goods for the day. They had vegan energy balls and some type of wild mushroom scone.
