Good burger!

This is no longer open but there is a container takeaway shop called ORGAN by the same folks in the same area. Not a lot of options but the had a tasty vegan charcoal bun burger and fermented lemon tea. They also have baked goods for take away.

Best veggie and vegan options in Sendai

This lovely little restaurant is near a pleasant stretch of the Hirosegawa river near Kawaramachi subway station. Why go here? Good music (I learned about Nujabes here), cozy couches and a warm relaxing interior, and a varied menu with excellent fruit and veggie drinks and pasta, pizza, curry and rice options many of which can be made vegetarian or vegan.
The place is small so if you have more than 4 people definitely make a reservation.
I especially enjoyed the salad with great presentation and seasonal vegetables. I had a very good cream sauce pasta (vegetarian) recently, and once had a very unusual but tasty "sushi" lunch which had neither fish no rice (made with nuts!)
This place really deserves to be better known and better patronized. Prices are low- most entrees are under 1000 yen, which is frankly too cheap given the quality of the ingredients and attractive presentation. Even mediocre Italian places charge 1200 for a pasta, for example.
The owners are also friendly and welcoming with interests in yoga and more.

Pros: Excellent value, Variety of vegan and vegetarian options

Cons: Small- only a few tables and can fill up, a bit of a walk (20 min) from Sendai Station area
