The Reuben sandwich was amazing! Fully vegan menu and great service. We’ve eaten here multiple times as it’s so good. Also recently tried the brownie and it was so gooey!

We opted to share the vegan rueben and the smoked tofu sandwhich/toastie. Both were very big portions and very flavourful! The service was also great and there were plenty of options. We also went back the following day to get cakes (brownie and banana bread) which were also soo tasty!

Super lovely staff - genuinely friendly & made us feel comfortable despite never visiting before. Menu had a good variety & the food was fast and super delicious. I had the JOIN THE CLUB and my partner REUBEN’S VEGAN BROTHER, STEVE. They hit the spot & were perfect for brunch. Generous servings & the coffee was also great. They also had a great selection of muffins/sweets and also vegan snacks for purchase. We’re already planning our visit back to try further items on the menu! 10/10 recommend

The staff are amazing and friendly! The food is to die for and the tea was great also! We ordered a poke bowl and a sandwich and it was soooooo delicious! The dessert was amazing as well. Couldn't recommend enough. If going for lunch, get there earlier as it is small so the seats fill up fast! We got there around 10am and it was quiet but started to get busy around half 10/11.

So wonderful to have an entire menu of food to choose from and educate my friends with. I was determined to try multiple toasties so I split the mushroom and the club. And the bacon egg bagel - it was DELICIOUS! I haven't had a bagel in years. Can't wait to go back!

Such friendly folks! Tiny spot but I’ve often been lucky enough to score a table. Very reasonable prices for an all-vegan place, especially by Sydney standards. Delicious toasties. Seems like most of their mock-meat is seitan-based and I believe they make it in-house. Had a “Thai” “beef” salad today and it was fresh and filling. Lots of tasty dressing. Next time I want to try their mango lassi with coconut yoghurt, rose water, warming cinnamon and turmeric - looked lovely! I think my favourite thing is their ethical focus, with beautiful photo portraits of rescue animals on the walls and reused milk cartons for takeaway boxes.

The staff is always friendly and happy, attentive and quick.
Other drinks like hot chocolate and delicious smoothies are also excellent as well as their cakes and muffins. Their cookies are the very best.
The atmosphere is relaxed.

I really hope the shift eatery presents a needed shift in dining choices for a cleaner, kinder and more sustainable future.
The customer service was exceptional and I was proud to notice the barista wearing a sea Shepard jumper.
My house made vegan bacon and egg roll, understandably sells out daily.
It was really great.
The vegan new york cheesecake was too rich for breakfast but it looked so good I couldn't miss my brief opportunity in Sydney.
I took a vegan meatball and house made marinara sub to go for lunch and to was great,
I really enjoyed the plant-based parmesan cheese

Loveeeeedddddd the toasties and bagels!! Had the bacon and egg bagel which was seriously next level.. bought the “Say Cheeeeeese” toastie as well as the Cheese and Ham toastie. All 3 were hot and full of flavour. Highly recommend 10/10

Have visited here twice now and have not been disappointed- the staff are friendly, the coffee superb and the best vegan bacon and egg bagel in the world is delicious. I can’t comment if it really is the best as it is the only vegan bacon and egg bagel I’ve eaten, but I loved it. Definitely coming again next time I’m in Sydney - super convenient to pop by if you’re on a train going through Central!
