Renovated with new menu

I was surprised to see they have renovated and the food improved significantly.

Good vegan sushi option

Having lived 10 years in Japan, half of that time before my vegan transition, I'd describe myself as a decent judge of quality when it comes to Japanese food.

Compared to Supe, Shiang Hai's sushi (maki and Californian rolls, to be precise) are/seem not simple in their approach and taste. In a good way, for the most part: taste is pretty much what you would expect from a maki or Californian roll. I only tried the avocado roll, but I'm looking forward to have the other options as well.

On top of the sushi, I tried the mushroom curry, it was very nice.

Overall, a very positive experience. I'll go back eventually.

On the negative side, service could be warmer, and the menu, like in most vegetarian eateries in KL, would greatly benefit from clearly label the vegan options.

Pros: Simple, reliable sushi

Cons: No vegan labeling in the menu

Gd Place near Sunway Lagoon

Went recently & they don't provide Steamboat anymore. Left only some sushi dishes & main focus is on Chinese food. Taste is good & appearance is appealing. Definitely recommend their "Taiwanese Style" Tomato Noodles(their Lady boss is from Taiwan), their Home-made Zhai Er & their sushi. Really Gd!!

I love it.

One of my favorite place to eat near Sunway Lagoon place. The menu have lot of choices... lot of tastes. Many kind of Sushi, delicious. Mock meat and all kind of dishes. The service is good, the price resonable. I definitly recommand that place.
