Absolutely amazing, you must go and support this cause 🫶 - Edit
We visited here whilst in Agra, the women were super welcoming and the food was absolutely gorgeous, it is a donation based cafe so there are no prices, but do give generously as this is for such an amazing cause, to bring awareness to acid attacks and the vibe is awesome and the food well worth it. Whilst there i had some henna done and it is gorgeous, i love it ! Truly beautiful place.

Nice food for a brilliant cause - Edit
A trip to Agra shouldn’t happen without coming here. The stories of the survivors are moving and powerful. Vegan options aren’t labelled but it’s easy enough to find things to eat and the staff are helpful.

nice - Edit
I think it’s worth coming here due to the good cause of the restaurant. The food itself was okay, not amazing though. They seemed a little overwhelmed when serving many people but in general a very nice staff!

This is a place run by acid victims, the food is given on donation basis and was absolutely delicious. We had dal, kofta, rice and fried veggies and fresh juices.

Empowering place - Edit
Wonderful place with very friendly welcoming staff. Our waitress Dolly knew exactly what vegan meant and was happy to point out the vegan items on the menu. Has a library and an exhibition of personal stories of the survivors who work there. Dolly is extremely outgoing and loves to practice her English. No prices, donation only.

Inspiring - Edit
We didn’t eat here but just had some drinks. The service was very good and it’s great to meet women as it’s a very rare sight in the service industry in India. They played a documentary for us about the organisation and their stories & we read some of the stories on the walls. Very inspiring and informative finding out about acid attacks, the impact on survivors and they work they do to help survivors. There are no prices on the menu- pay what you feel and perhaps a donation to support their work

Great food - interesting / charitable location - Edit
We were looking for another restaurant near Sheroes Hangout but couldn't find it (although we did later and were glad we tried Sheroes).
Read moreSheroes is a restaurant with a mission - aimed at educating customers about the horrors of acid attacks on Indian women. It was founded by 5 (I think) who work there, bravely.
The food is good and standard Indian although Chinese is also offered. It is filling and tasty.
Unusually there are no prices on the menu - as instead you are asked to pay what you think the meal is worth (plus of course a donation to the cause).
All in - a good cause and a good meal.
