Good

Vegan breakfast was a bit disappointing. Kind of expected more: it was one slice of bread topped with a bit of spinach, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes and half an avocado. It was a too greasy for our liking, but still okay. Carrot cake is alright as well, icing is way too sweet, other than that a decent cake. The vegan curry was very tasty, the roti too greasy though and some of the potatoes were cold (perhaps due to the salad underneath).

Bruschetta were tasty, sadly nothing to replace the feta with. Other than that 10/10. We had a mixed berry smoothie with almond milk as well, it wasn’t bad by any means, we just expected a bit more than frozen berries mixed with almond milk (at least that’s what it tasted like haha).

Their fruit salad was delish and exactly what I needed. They have banana bread, carrot cake and some other vegan baked goods as well, haven’t tried them though. Great options for such a small town!

Heaps of vegan options

So happy to see clearly marked vegan options, the specials change but when we were there they had vegan breakfast, spring rolls, banana bread, carrot cake, curry, roll and magnums. Also the coffee was really good! We just has banana bread (moist and delicious) and coffee but will go back for breakfast tomorrow.

Vegan sushi

Enjoyed the seaweed sushi at this cafe. There were 4 other vegan hot dishes on the menu plus a few vegan cakes to chooses from. Great to find this available in such a remote location.

Pros: Four vegan options plus desserts, Friendly staff

Meh

Was initially excited to see all the vegan options on the menu, especially for such a small/remote town.

Staff were super friendly but manager/supervisor not so much.

Ordered the vegetarian brekky and asked if something could be substituted for the eggs. I was told no substitutes - I can only add on side items for additional cost.

When breakfast arrived I was told bread is delivered pre buttered so no option for toast without it. They wouldn’t have mentioned this if I hadn’t specifically gone up after ordering to check they wouldn’t put any butter/spread on.

Cold baked beans. Hash brown was greasy and seemed as though it had been refried/deep fried a few times. Avocado portion was very small. Ciabatta was small and came with toasted with dairy butter. Looked nothing like the picture posted by other reviewer.

Coffee was made with Milk Lab milk and absolutely delicious. Not sure if it was the skill of the barista who made it or it’s as good no matter who makes it. After a bad burnt coffee at the bakery, this was amazing.

Before trying the breakfast I was tempted to try dinner there too but after today’s experience I’ll give it a miss.

It wasn’t cheap either at $25.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Very good coffee

Cons: No substitutes when ordering vegetarian brekky, Expensive for what you get, Supervisor not particularly friendly
