Superb - Edit
What a great find. Extensive menu - almost too big to choose from but had some lovely tasting authentic Vietnamese food. Excellent service and sure will be a massive success. Decor and ambience spot on.

Excellent vegan food experience!!! - Edit
This restaurant is so beautiful and the atmosphere is just perfect. I love the design and decor of this restaurant, which gives it a comfortable and zen atmosphere. The food is all very fresh and tasty... excellent flavors. I’ve been here at least 3 times and have loved every dish I’ve tried. Vegan options are clearly labeled.

Of course this restaurant is pricier when compared to other surrounding local vegetarian restaurants, but you can’t compare the quality, and once you try, you will agree that it is worth it and you get what you pay for. The food quality is superior and all ingredients are fresh. The owner informed me that all ingredients they use for their dishes, are received fresh daily, and leftovers are donated at end of day. So food is guaranteed fresh daily!
Service is also the best I’ve experienced of all other vegan/vegetarian restaurants I’ve tried in Hồ Chí Minh City.
I will definitely return to Shamballa whenever in Saigon, and would highly recommend this restaurant as a top and a must try healthy eatery in Hồ Chi Minh.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Excellent service & beautiful relaxed atmosphere, Fresh and superior quality dishes
Cons: Not 100% Vegan 😉

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
The pictures here cannot really show the beauty of the restaurant and the dishes. Everything was really tasty - especially the fried mushrooms! The prices are a bit higher than places around the corner - but it is absolutely worth it! Enjoy!

Fancy Vietnamese food! - Edit
Why is this place not rated higher? I love the Vietnamese street food, but sometimes you just don’t want to worry about whether what you’re eating is actually vegan. This place is a little slice of heaven! It’s a reallllly nice place with amazing food! So many vegan options, clearly marked. The fried enoki mushrooms were AMAZING. And the steamed banana and coconut milk dessert was so good!! The mocktails are tasty too. This place is where you come when you want a nicer, upmarket lunch or dinner. Highly recommend people!

Umm umm great - Edit
Came here a couple of times during my stay nearby and I absolutely loved each dish my wife and I ordered. Not only was the food on point, but the presentation was equally exceptional. Service was fire and I enjoyed the owner stopping by to chat with us and give some history on the place. I cannot recommend this place enough, from the food to the instagram worthy pics to the service. Don’t even get me started on the wonderful cocktails.

Great range in the menu - Edit
Extensive array of Vietnamese dishes including specialities, all vegetarian, most vegan. Huge menu divided into categories, all dishes accompanied by photos. Vegan dishes are clearly marked. The local / traditional favourites are worth a try as many of them are dishes in Vietnamese cuisine that vegetarian and vegans can’t usually eat.
Read moreDishes were tasty and inventive using good ingredients, drinks were carefully crafted and tasty.
Service was attentive and tried hard to please.
Highly recommend any traditional dish for example any of the rolls, the banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe) banana flower salad, and anything with crispy crackers.
Pros: Lots of vegan choices, Great menu to choose from, Helpful staff

Great new spot in Saigon - Edit
Staff was welcoming and the ambiance was perfect, felt like a little haven away from the noisiness of Saigon. Went with some friends and we only left with high praise. The food was particularly amazing, had the rolls and salads and they were some of the best vegetarian food I've ever had. Highly recommended for everyone, vegetarian or not, to try some dishes here.

A Garden in the City - Edit
I was here a while ago, and I adored the aesthetics of the restaurant from the ambient music to the interior. The food was delicious and decently-priced for a fine dining restaurant. There is a lot of greenery as well to mirror a garden, and there is plenty of natural light from the tall glass panes. This is truly a well-designed restaurant.

The Best Vegetarian Restaurant in HCMC, Vietnam - Edit
I first accidentally visited this vegan restaurant in one night when their traditional concert catched my ears, everything was so wonderful with texture and flavor food, they had super great three-layered tofu with tamarind sauce. The location in the central D1, so comfortable and wide, free parking. Highly recommend for enjoying vegan dishes here.
