Extremely poor service - Edit
I really wanted to love this place and was so excited to try it. It was difficult getting the waitors attention to order he kept walking out of the room, even though only one other table was in this section of the restaurant. Eventually, another waitor got him and he took our order. Two of the three meals came out and after some time when I asked about my meal, he went away and came back to advise (through Google translate in his phone) that that meal was not available and the kitchen was closed. So I asked if there was anything he could do for my meal and he just said kitchen closed. I wanted to speak to the manager to try to get some meal, and both waitor and manager were young boys and they thought the situation was very funny and just laughed at me. Neither seemed to care that I had come all this way for a meal and ended up with just the scraps from the other two meals. So apart from this terrible experience the food I got a mouthful of was nice except for a nut pate with crackers, this was sweet and weird. Based on my experience I would not recommend Shakti.

Cracking Pho - Edit
Had two different types of Pho. Good size portion, both flavourful and good value for money. Mushroom cooked so we'll we had to double check it wasn't meat!

they don't know what vegan is - Edit
The first thing I did when I came in was to ask what kind of dishes are vegan. received an answer that the restaurant is 100% vegan, which is not true as they use milk and eggs. not very impressive when the waiter thinks that eggs and milk are vegan in a vegetarian restaurant. used google translate and said that I can't have dairy products or eggs, they should fix that. got soup with something white on top, it was cream. They told me it was "no milk, but decorative cream" ....

Wide variety - Edit
I ordered this for delivery.
Read moreThe pho rolls were fresh and tasty and a decent serving.
The black almond soup was tasty and beautifully presented. I have never had black almond soup before, so wasn't sure what to expect, or have anything to compare it to. But I would recommend this as a nice change, it felt very wholesome and was filling.

Delicious Healthy Vietnamese Vegan Food! - Edit
The Squeezed Mushroom Stem Salad was definitely one of the greatest meals I’ve ever eaten in my life! I would consider coming back to this city (Nha Trang) just to eat that salad again and again! Sounds crazy, right? Well you have to try it for yourself!!

Overpriced - Edit
For vegans when breakfast is over (7-10) it doesn't leave that many options. No pho after breakfast.
Read moreThe place had a lovely atmosphere. The price also reflected that it was a more highend place, and for two people it came out to 350k VND.
Tom Yum was 4/5 - a bit heavy on the coconut so lacking in depth
Fried veggies in mushroom sauce with side of tofu and rice noodles 3/5 - soft tofu without flavour, the veggies were steamed, not fried - but the mushroom sauce was delicious.
Service was okay, nothing negative nor positive about the experience.
Place felt a bit dirty (we came at around 13.30 so after lunch) There were pieces of food on the ground which is expectable of a quan but not highend places
Would recommend going just 15 meters along the street to the Quan with huge menu, a lovely farmhouse feel, delicious food and 1/3 of the price
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Price

Not so many options during lunch time - Edit
After all the reviews below said that this restaurant has an extensive menu we were kind of surprised after the server handed us out a small menu. It was more filled with starters and salads that we decided to only get spring rolls. They were so good that we really wanted to come for dinner once to eat from their extensive menu but unfortunately we couldn't make it.

Solid choice that was open late - Edit
My sautéed veggies came out looking way better than the picture. I added rice which was a big portion and it was a great meal! My partner got pizza (not vegan) and said it was ok.

Extensive menu, gorgeous restaurant - Edit
The waitress understood vegan and took us through all the things that are naturally vegan (over half the menu). The food was delicious, big portions and incredible flavours.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is really well done, looks like a special occasions place, without the price tag. Really enjoyed everything about it.
We had:
Miso soup (the pumpkin was out, but this was v. Good)
Brown noodles and mixed veg - which includes tofu
I had a side of fried tofu too as I hadn’t realised the above
Grilled Tofu skins with galangal
White rice
Hibiscus & lychee tea
All was delicious 🤤
And cost ~ £9
The owner was lovely too, she came over at the end and thanked us for choosing her restaurant with a traditional Vietnamese dessert on the house!
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Beautiful restaurant setting, Very reasonably priced
Cons: Vegan options not specifically called out

Amazing - Edit
What I experienced on the day I set foot in here was the best dining experience I've ever had. I was actually heading to a vegan place a couple stores down the road but a gravitational pull had me turn around and look inside Shakti. And am I ever so glad I did!
Read moreThe moment I saw the sign for the soft opening, I knew I had to take a peek. But a peek was not enough, no, the staff quickly came to greet me with smiling faces and a friendly welcoming!
I was guided upstairs in my own private overlook from the modern and comforting balcony that I could view the entire restaurant.
I was joined by Khoa, a fantastic gentleman with an aspiring vision to bring healthy food and fantastic dishes abroad.
He educated me on his life story and the inspiration for this restaurant. I was guided through the menu and recommended multiple dishes along with a very refreshing Dragonfruit drink!
Dishes:
(Phở Bát Đá) The Breakfast Pho was out of this world, it came sizzling in stone bowl loaded with vegetables and tofu. With each bite, I could make out all of the ingredients and how they worked together to deliver such a great soup. Accompanying this dish was plenty of herbs and lime to add another level of taste. The broth was perfection, I ensured I drank every last bit! 11/10
Runner up is the chả giò rong biển Shakti (Seaweed Spring Rolls). The multiple levels of texture and flavor made my taste buds dance on this one. The crispyness of the fried coating, the second crunch of the seaweed, and the soft inside full of vegetables and herbs. Delicate yet full of flavor and the seaweed really did it for me. Can't imagine a spring roll without it now!
bánh tráng trộn (Rice Paper Mix) was a very refreshing dish and my first time experiencing this salad based dish. So many complementing layers of acidity and saltiness with a tad of sweetness from all of the rice paper, fruit, vegetables, and fresh greens. Very enjoyable to eat and felt so good after!
trà thanh long đỏ (Red Dragonfruit Tea) made me feel like I was in a tropical paradise. Not too sweet and the perfect pairing with the salad and spring rolls I had. It was full of dragonfruit pieces and so enjoyable to finish.
Verdict: The menu is so extensive and it is just the beginning. I can only imagine the future offerings to come! I believe no matter what you choose you will enjoy your meal. The price is reasonable for the quality and service you receive. I felt honored to eat here, I came as a customer and left as a friend
