Impressive vegan afternoon tea - Edit
I am a big fan of afternoon tea but I haven’t gone for tea since I became a vegan and I was a little bit worried that it would be boring. Shakespeare’s does a full tea service with sandwiches and savories, scones and desserts.
Read moreOur appetizer was a pumpkin and parsnip medley which was perfectly spiced. There was a vegan curried cream cheese sandwich that had so much flavor, eggplant and butter lettuce, apple and chutney and cucumber sandwiches. Coconut scones with vegan butter and strawberry jam, and delicious desserts, including flapjacks and chai cream cupcakes as well as vegan shortbread and a dark chocolate cherry macaroon.
They offer almond and oat milk for tea - I was so happy they had oat milk as it’s the only milk I like with my tea.
Their menu changes frequently and I am so happy that they always offer the vegan options because I love going there for tea.

Nothing crazy fancy here, but there are definitely lots of vegetarian and vegan options here. They are knowledgeable about their menu here and I felt like I had a lot I have options to choose from. I did the wrap with the sesame ginger dressing and it was delicious! Definitely recommend this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
