I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a non-vegan friend. The staff appeared very knowledgeable about what exactly vegan means when I asked them about their vegan selections. I had ordered toast as a side and was told that they did not have margarine in house at all. That was fine. So I ordered the potatoes that everyone raves about. When I tasted them they tasted overwhelmingly of butter. Since I had been told specifically that they did not have margarine or anything like it in the whole restaurant it is clear that the potatoes were cooked in butter. I would definitely not recommend going here if you are vegan. I don't believe they have a full understanding of what veganism is. I also believe they should stop advertising as a vegan friendly restaurant.
