No bones dish is great!

I really enjoyed this dish, pitas, shawarma with some heat, greens, cauliflower and chickpeas. A little messy for me but great flavor. Only drawbacks of this place are limited vegan options, but for the area this is not a shortcoming.

Limted Vegan, but Really Good

The No Bones shwarma dish is exceptional. The cold udon noodle dish was good and well seasoned. Could have used less noodles and added tofu. Only had the homemade root beer, very good.
Sophie was our server, delightful. Really good option for a small town. 4.6 rating.

Delicious

They had a few vegan options. I got the “No Bones” and it was amazing. Went back the next day to get it again!

Great food great service, fair price

We had a vegan noodle bowl and a vegan burger with fries and a couple root beers….. service was great and price was fair. It will be nice to have a few more vegan options, but we were very satisfied and would go back.

Pros: Good flavors , Great service , Vegan options with a view

Send Noods & Side of the Day

Send Noods was a solid vegan dish. I devoured it after a hike up to Mt. Marathon. The noodles were hearty and it wasn’t too spicy for me. I wish they had tofu to add to the dish. My partner noticed they had chickpeas in other dishes and I could have asked them to add chickpeas but I didn’t. She got 2 orders of the side of the day which was a farro salad with roasted yams, kale, onion, corn relish, Dijon vinaigrette and she asked them to add chickpeas in which they added for $4. This dish was listed under ‘specials’ so they likely do not have it all of the time. Sit upstairs for great views.

Pros: Excellent service, Views, Beer selection

Cons: I wish they had tofu, More vegan options

Great Option

The Send Noods (cold noodle salad) was great. For a good size town, very little options for vegans. They had other vegan options available also.

Pros: Delicious food, Something different from a burger, Send noodles were great

Veg options better than reviews would suggest!

The chop salad is truly an exploration of plant-based eating! My main concern was the “soy egg” was, well, an egg, which i might accept but the “soy” was obviously soy sauce which for me is a gluten-free no-go. And kimchi? With a bit of fish sauce? Well, it is ALASKA after all: how to balk at a bit of traditional fish sauce? With the green garbanzos and chopped mixed vegetables, this salad is trying to solve a plant based vibe.
Their home-made veggie burger was an ambitious amalgam of sweet potato and beet: i think it would stand well on a bed of greens with aioli a’ la a crab cake, but in the pretzel bun it was a pastie failure.
Nice to have plant-based choices, and always, BEER!

Pros: Chop salad awesome, House made veg pattie, Brewery fresh Beer!

Cons: Need to relax strict vigilance, Is a pretzel bun vegan?, Can’t attest to the pizza

Subpar Veggie Burger

House made veg patty (beans, sweet potato, beet, etc). Personally, mine was burnt. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. Clean environment and friendly staff. Staff also seemed very knowledgeable about veganism.
It's important to note that fries are made in a shared fryer.

Pros: Friendly staff, Clean

Cons: One option made with subs
