Personalized yoga retreat in a historic B&B near hikes and lakes. All levels welcome. Relax, renew, be nurtured. Yoga/meditation teacher since 1985. Massage, sauna, bikes. Serve 3 vegetarian meals daily. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-9:00pm.
The Sewall House Yoga Retreat is a unique destination for anyone looking to spend some time to cultivate quiet in their life while enjoying delicious vegetarian (mostly vegan) food. Hosts Donna & Kent masterfully blend their talents to provide a comfortable environment complete with uplifting yoga practices, invigorating nature outings, relaxing massages, and 3 fantastic home-cooked meals a day. Chef Kent uses fresh, organic, and local ingredients when available and in the five years I've been staying there I've never had a meal that wasn't superb. Some of my favorites are the Sweet Potato Lasagna, Mushroom-Stuffed Fillo Pastries, Thai Green Curry and Donna's Homemade Granola. Fresh baked bread is served daily with every meal. I'd highly recommend a stay here whether you are looking for a place to deepen your yoga practice or just relax. It would also be a great place to visit to kick start a new direction in life or a new eating plan. You could easily start being a vegan or vegetarian here (and then take home Kent's cookbook with many of his signature recipes so you can replicate the Sewall House experience at home!)
