We heard about this new restaurant this morning and rode our bikes over there this afternoon (right off of a bike path).
Read moreEverything was perfect, except that the owners couldn’t go home with us and take over our kitchen. I had the Veggie Bahn Mi with vegan aoli and my wife had the De La Sol salad with tempeh bacon. We also split a C.R.E.A.M. smoothie. The food was so good that we ordered a vegan fried rice and a couple of drinks to go for later. The owners and staff were super friendly and specially packed the meal so it would survive an 8 mile bike ride home.
Another word to describe the food is inclusive. The vegan food is not an afterthought. It’s the same items the omnivores get, but veganized. That is surprisingly comforting.
We were lucky enough to sit outside in the garden with our bikes, butterflies, bumblebees, and beautiful flowers and plants. This is hands down my new favorite vegan restaurant in Virginia Beach. We’ll be back for breakfast!

Great food, drinks, music, friendly owners. Many vegan options. Much needed breakfast/ brunch spot with options in the Shore drive area, but worth the visit from anywhere in VB. The outdoor seating has a great atmosphere and is surrounded by plants and with a shade cloth overhead. Opened July 2021
