It's like Korean Chipotle - Edit
You can pick your options here, like at Chipotle. The tofu however is very small and crumbly and not well seasoned. I usually have to add the kimchi (it's vegan friendly) to get some extra flavor. You can pay to double your tofu portion though, which is nice when you're really hungry.

Nourish your Seoul - Edit
I ate at the location on Wisconsin in Tenleytown. The food was fresh, the bowl was big, and there is plenty of seating (inside only). Had the herbivore bowl with tofu. The tofu was crumbled and seasoned -- different and maybe healthier than the fried cubes you get most places. It looks like you can customize any of the bowls to make them vegan. The bowl came with a side of oil-like dressing but the bowl did not need anything additional -- it was so good. There was a sign promoting $10 bowl and beer happy hour -- that's a good deal!

Vegan markings all over the menu! - Edit
Korean and Korean fusion cuisine is so good, but so often only a couple items are vegan. Not here! No second class diners here, veg*n friends! They don't default to smothering everything in skme mayo-based anything, so take heart. When you look at the wall menu, it is clear: veggies are vegan. Protein choice is limited to tofu, but it is good and local.
Read moreBecause you make your own (1 of the 6 pre-made mixes is veg, the Herbivore- all vegan), there are dozens of possibilities. You can have anything in veg format, anything!!! One of the sauces is cream based, but the hot sauce and carrot ginger are fair game for vegans. The choices are bibimbap with white or purple rice, a seaweed burrito, a salad or tacos with corn tortillas. Opt for tofu or not, rice or not, any or all of the veggies like kimchi, radishes, kale slaw, cucumbers, carrots, corn, add some toppings like sesame, roasted garlic, cilantro and/or scallions and top with sauce.
Brilliant and so vegan friendly. Love it! Add avocado for an extra charge. Yum!
Pros: Vegan veggies , Vegan anything , Make your own!
Cons: Not 100% vegan, Only veg protein is tofu
