Closed restaurant - Edit
I believe I saw this restaurant open a few weeks, but I am unsure. What I am sure of, is that the restaurant is currently closed.

Veggie power on campus - Edit
This cafeteria inside Seoul National University is popular among vegans, vegetarians AND flexitarians. Many students, professors and outside visitors eat here to re-charge their energies by eating "healthy food". Compared to other student cafeterias in campus, this one may be most expensive, but it also offers the most!
Read moreThe menu changes daily, but there is always a choice of
- two types of rice (white and multi-grain),
- one porridge and one soup,
- at least two dishes featuring tofu or mock meat,
- various vegetable side dishes
- a salad buffet
- some kind of fruit
- a sweet drink (Korean tea or juice)
Since it is a buffet, one can freely choose one's preferred dishes and get seconds on those that one liked.
Unfortunately it operates only during lunchtime and on weekdays. 🙃
UPDATE: The cafeteria is operating again as of March 2022.
Btw, the company operating the cafeteria changes every 2 years or so, so the taste varies accordingly.

Open again as of March 2022 - Edit
Fantastic vegan buffet at Seoul National University campus at the Asian Research Building 1st floor. Price is 7000 won as of March 2022. All you can eat and absolutely delicious. Today they had rice, spicy vegan bulgogi, tofu bolgenese, a 3 bean salad, Japchae, seaweed soup, regular lettuce salad with two dressings and various toppings. Also two types of tea and orange slices as dessert.

Amazing place - Edit
Went there very often. The price of 6.5k is a bit more than other cafetarias, but it is the only vegan place and it is a buffet. The options change all the time and the staff is nice. It is very nice to eat traditionally Korean food veganized. All my non vegan friends I brought there approved.

A good variety of korean vegan food - Edit
Great value for money, good variation of food, always some type of version on soup, porridge, bean-meat, and the salad buffet is the same every time. Then additional different types of korean vegan food.

Nice vegan buffet - Edit
The idea of a all-you-can-eat buffet is nice but the dishes may be a little too bland sometimes. The offer changes every day, except the DIY salad bar. For example you may get simple or mixed rice with other lentils, soup (Korean type), pumpkin or corn porridge, soy based meat, tofu and then a variety of green veggies or other salads like white kimchi.
Read moreI would have wished for more fruits however for the price and location, so worth a visit! Overall it's a great place.
Pros: Great value for money, DIY Salad bar
Cons: A little bland, It gets loud(naturally, it's a spacious cafeteria)

great deal, decent food - Edit
You can't beat the price. I didn't know where to go once I reached building 101 because there was a line of people ordering coffee. Go through the double clear doors and there is a counter to pay for the vegan buffet. However, there was no clerk to assist me, so I paid by asking a random student.

easy access, yummy, price now 7500₩ - Edit
Follow the directions and find the building for Asian studies (101) and look where many people come in and out (because it's not just the buffet but also other canteens) and buy a ticket at the machine. Basic Korean should help you enough to get the ticket without much struggle. Drop it in the clear box at the buffet and dig in!
Read moreIt tastes really good, too! There aren't many veggies though
Pros: inexpensive, variety, taste is good
Cons: not a whole lot of veggies

a saviour on campus! - Edit
Ate here every weekday for the entirety of July: amazing selection of dishes everyday - each dish from the tea to the salad, to the soup and range of banchan was flavourful and unique.
Read moreEveryday there is a choice between two types of rice - rice with beans or plain white rice, sometimes also including beansprouts - Kimchi, a soup dish, mixed salad, lettuce & Perilla leaves.
Everyday the other dishes change: sometimes there's quite a bit of fried food, usually mushroom coated in a batter; mock meat; tteokbokki; steamed root vegetables; pajeon; usually something involving mushroom or tofu on the daily, and of course seaweed.
Some days there's also fresh fruit and digestive tea served as "punch".
Good enough to steer non-veggie friends away from the (cheaper) non-veggie food served in the same building and keep them.
The ladies who work in the veggie section are all lovely and it runs well.
Price is 7,000₩ but 6,000₩ with an SNU ID.
Pros: lots of choice , Always filling and fresh
Cons: can be quite oily

Best option for vegans! - Edit
7000 won for non-SNU faculty and 6000 won for SNU faculty. I'm so blessed to have this buffet in my school. Definitely worth the money! All of the menus are vegan. Quite crowded these days!

Good Vegetarian Buffet - Edit
I have lunch here every week day. The menu is different on each day except for Mixed bean rice, plain rice and a vegetable soup which are available every day. There are at least 6 other items to choose from including a mildly sweet drink made from rice or fruit or vegetable.
