fast food taste but fresh - Edit
The portions are great! My dude and I split a crunch wrap for lunch and were filled up. On another occasion, we split a bowl and it was hearty.
Read moreThe wait time is kind of long. I ordered the second time online and ate in the restaurant because I was in a hurry. I recommend giving them 20 minutes for a small order.
The flavors are fresh and reminiscent of fast food classics. I really like the garlic rice! I added guac, Just Egg, and extra beans to my bowl. If I had not split it I would have not been able to finish it.
The space is clean and staff is nice.
Pros: yummy, good portions, clean place

Senor Sisig burrito with Tocino. Not sure what traditional Tocino was but was being adventurous and was okay. Think they got the spicy string since it read supposed to be medium but was was spicier than spicy nachos. Decent burrito, but will try different filling next time.

Decent favor, nice ingredients, okay nacho cheese, like the thin chips which didn't get soggy quickly. Not spicy as ordered but given the initial order mix-up with another patron, might have got it wrong. Overall smaller than other nachos portion but would order again.
Enjoyable lunch by the lake since there isn't any outdoor dining setup even though a section of the street is blocked off.

We tried the vegan California sisig burrito with half vegan chicken and half vegan chorizo. It was delicious! We also tried the sisig crunch-a-dilla which was delicious and came with a vegan nacho cheese sauce! 4 stars only because they are not a vegan only establishment!

Cali Burritos FTW - Edit
Señor sisig is the kind of place that makes me so happy to be a Californian. Now that they have a brick and mortar spot in Oakland and the full vegan menu it’s just extra amazing. Everything they make is delicious, but I’m a sucker for that Cali Tofu burrito.

The vegan options at Senor Sesig are spot on! I love the current exclusive menu item, the crunch-a-dilla. I always add rice and beans in that one and it tastes delicious. They also offer garlic peanuts and chili lime peanuts which are really good. The menu is huge too!

Tons to choose from including cali burrito’s, that’s all I needed to see and I was sold. The food tasted better than I imagined it to. Very cool flavors! If you’re into eating spicy, their hella spicy is very tasty and does not take away from the rest of the flavors going on.

It’s too bad I can only give this 4 stars because it deserves 5 - they operate a 100% vegan sisig food truck! So many options I had trouble choosing. We went for the “chicken” and “pork” burritos and they were excellent. Highly recommend!

Yes, that's right. East Bay vegans rejoice! Señor Sisig now has a daily restaurant located in downtown Oakland. Offering the same 100% plant-based/vegan menu as their food truck in San Francisco. I'd give this a 10 star review if I can just fact it's open daily AND it local for East Bay natives like myself. When with their "pork" Sisig fries and their Cali burrito (go-2) of course.
