Simply stunning vegan dining experience. - Edit
A slightly more upscale and refined Vietnamese dining experience. Waiter asked beforehand whether we wanted the vegan or non-vegan menu, so it practically felt like a full vegan restaurant experience!!
Read moreWe got the lantern curry, summer rolls, salt and pepper tofu, as well as the Ché for dessert. 100%, the curry was the highlight. I never expect much from curries but it was SO refreshing to see one with a variety of actually fresh and high quality veggies that were well cooked but not mushy, and also so filled with tofu. The summer rolls were very herby, and salt and pepper tofu were light but crisp.
Moment of appreciation for the Ché. It was piping hot, cooked through and through with taro and sweet potato, with glutinous rice balls that were stuffed with flavor (unlike how it is usually!!!). Simply INCREDIBLE. Must try badge, please!

Alright - Edit
Some of the starters were nice. I would recommend the papaya salad, and the salt and pepper tofu. The sài gòn avocado rolls were dominated by the taste of one specific herb, it was cilantro if I remember right. My main, the stir-fry vegetable pho, was just alright.

Fresh and healthy vegan options - Edit
I really enjoyed my food at SEN! I just got 2 starters to make up my main: avocado and vermicelli spring rolls with a pb sauce and crispy tofu, both were incredible! Amazing service too, very friendly and accommodating

Good option - Edit
Tasty food, and nice to see separate vegetarian menu. The salt and pepper tofu was particularly good. I also really enjoyed the generous amount of tofu substituted for spring rolls. The all vegan Sen Viet is a better option.

Professional but no food - Edit
Professional waiting staff (cannot vouch for the food but would recommend going by experience with waiting staff).
Read moreThe restaurant was very presentable and had a very warm, clean atmosphere.
I was not able to have any food due to all the allergens present in every single dish the restaurant has (e.g. peanuts, gluten, sugar, msg, etc)
Waiting staff were very polite and sympathetic of my medical problems and tried their best to find something on menu to accommodate me which I very much appreciated. It was also very responsible of them to admit that the restaurant had no safe food for me (some places may have lied and poisoned me for a quick buck, but these guys were good).
The waitress asked the chef about msg for me; the chef said they do not use msg, however on every table in restaurant are two bottles of sauce which contain a multitude of bad ingredients among them msg...
Bottom line; give it a try if you are vegan and are okay with additives like peanuts, gluten, msg, refined sugar, etc.
Pros: Clean and inviting restaurant , Professional waiting staff
Cons: Allergens e.g. peanuts, gluten, sugar, msg, etc, Was told "no msg" but table sauce bottles say dif

Outstanding; do not miss out - Edit
The vegan options at Sen are fantastic. Oftentimes, the vegan offer at restaurants is essentially a meat dish with no meat, this is not the case here. The cruelty free options were absolutely superb.
Read moreThe menu is incredibly well thought out, complex flavours, authentic dishes and great variation in choices.
The pho was exquisite, flavours were out of this world. Curry was warming, creamy and rich but somehow still very light and refreshing.
As if all that wasn’t enough, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and the atmosphere was delightful, clean and modern but also welcoming and relaxing.
The dining experience at Sen is truly special, do not miss out on this restaurant when you are in the area.
As a side note, I would recommend booking in advance. Due to the exceptional quality, it is a very popular eatery.

Absolutely fabulous! - Edit
I didn't know what to expect when I visited this wee restaurant, but I was absolutely blown away.
Read moreThere's a separate vegan menu, and everything we had was so delicious. The avocado summer rolls were served with a super-moreish peanut sauce and the lantern curry was rich and comforting with good range of veggies and a generous helping of tofu.
Am already planning my next visit. Heartily recommend!

Would give 4 even if vegan - Edit
Was a really nice atmosphere and we got quite a lot of the street food snacks which were amazing! My favourite was the salt and chilli tofu and the papya salad. My only complaint is that the pho was not really a pho... I assume that the broth they normally use is bone broth so for the vegan version they just served the veggies and tofu on a plate like a stir fry with no soup. It was a bit disappointing but they made up for it with the rest of the meal.
