Friendly staff, good food - Edit
Stopped in here at 7 when they had just opened. Staff were welcoming, coffee was good and food was tasty. Vegan options seem limited from what it seems like they've had previously, but it was good none the less. Oh and they play Banging tunes!

Seize has awesome healthy Kai. Years ago when I first went there they even made vegan poached eggs. Super impressive and creative!

Great lunch option - Edit
I haunted this place often while living in Wellington. They do a $14 salad bowl deal and you can choose up to 4. The best part is that all the options are vegan and gluten free! The vegan tuna pasta salad was my favourite. I had a great dirty chai there a few times as well. Perfect to takeaway for lunch!

Absolute pass - Edit
Such high hopes and they were dashed with a chocolate ginger almond cookie.
Read moreIt was probably a week old, dry and flavorless. Oddest cookie texture encountered. Couldn’t even pawn off to coworkers. Unfortunately will not be returning. Nope. Nope.
Redeemed slightly with salad bar lunch options. Still pass on dessert.

Perfect winter warmer breakfast on a cold day! 🔥 - Edit
The most amazing ‘mince’ on toast I’ve ever had! I opted for tofu as a side instead of eggs.
Read moreStaff were welcoming and friendly, and the food came out quickly.
Would have loved to try their salad bar but they didn’t have that set up in the morning. 🥺

Nice wee healthy go to - Edit
Lots of healthy options, located in the CBD so very easily accessible. Friendly staff, and fantastic raw treats if that’s what you’re into! The raw treats are definitely on the expensive side, but the rest of the food is delicious. Always a go to!

Tasty selection of vegan brunch items, salads, cakes and slices. Staff are friendly and the service is great! They also make the best almond coffees in Wellington.

We had a great lunch there! We ordered a few very tasty and filling salads, smoothies and finally a couple of sweets (a cheesecake and a matcha tart). Everything was delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly.

One happy vegan! - Edit
Heard about this place via a friend. Came two days in a row, once to stock up on vegan slices (the choc brownie is delicious) and the next day for breakfast. I had the vegan smoothie bowl which was huge and tasty. Lots of choice for vegan and gluten free people 😀

Disappointing - Edit
This place was recommended by friends.
Read moreI went for breakfast, and had a vegan "egg" benedict.
It looked amazing, the "egg" looked like a perfect replica (why do that, actually?...) but tasted very random / weird... And all the components were very oily, which surprised me, coming from a place that seems to be promoting healthy eating.
I returned quite a few times to Wellington since, but never returned there.
Pros: Nice space, Quite central
Cons: My dish was not tasty and very greasy, The staff was not really friendly

Great place for brunch - Edit
What a great place to have breakfast or brunch! It's worth going just to try the vegan fried or poached eggs, the Vegan Big Breakfast is an absolute must and I highly recommend it. 😊

The food was delicious and gorgeously presented! The cafe is stylish and modern, with an open kitchen and very accommodating staff :) They are great for food allergies, and have a huge variety of vegan options. Emphasis on whole foods and decadent twists on classic dishes

Fantastic Vegan Options - Edit
I'm so delighted we have such a wonderful café in Wellington. It's so nice to have multiple vegan choices for lunch - they're all delicious. I'm so used to having only one choice at other places. I only wish they were open on the weekend and at night too. My last lunch there was vegan 'spaghetti bolognaise' with tomato sauce - it was gluten free as well. Yum

Worth a vist - Edit
Good to see raw juice bars finally catching on in Wellington. Open during the weekdays only - 7-3.30pm. This one is in a good location in the CBD. Nice layout, fresh and clean with a modern look.
Read moreStanding room only at lunchtime so if you want a seat get their early - you may have to share a table. Not the cheapest bite, mainly due to portion size, but happy to pay for good quality, fresh food - seem to do organic too which makes it worth it.
Nice selection of dishes, juices and raw deserts. I had the raw vegan burger - $17.00, raw cake $5.00, and a juice forgot the price of that - but not OTT. Portions not huge - probably due to the - healthy = small portions of nutrient rich food - philosophy, so if you want to feel ‘full’ you need to add courses and the price escalates. If you are veggie or vegan this is a place with stuff for you. It seems they are unconfident in Wellington clients ie) they must think people won’t eat there if it is perceived to be ‘veggie’ so they have on their main board, a ‘Add a bit of Decadence’ list which should read ‘Add a bit of death’ to your dish list. Basically, you can buy a lovely, fresh, organic plant based dish then add a variety of different dead animals to it for an added cost so if that’s your thing then you can get it at Seize.
Would I eat there again? Definitely, but not every day. Also there is a dearth of vegan restaurants in this part of Welly so it really is a good option if you are in the CBD.
Pros: Good range of organic, raw vegan food, Nice fresh cafe with seating, Not too overpriced
Cons: Sells meat, Portions are not huge

Lots of yummy healthy options - Edit
Seize is a modern cafe catering to the office crowd. They have a breakfast and lunch menu, a great salad bar and a cabinet of desserts. Menu is mostly vegan and gluten free, with plenty of raw, paleo and other options. I ordered the salad combo ($12.5) and a raw Snickers slice ($5) - yum yum. Already planning my next visit for the waffles with coconut whip and berries!
