Excellent vegan Vietnamese food! - Edit
I have been here three times every time I come to town and it's always great! Even my meat-eating friends really love it. The menu is very extensive and the flavors are very delicious. And you do have the option to have egg and some dishes, because not all vegans don't eat eggs. Overall, I highly recommend having a meal here.

Meh - Edit
Vegans beware! This is a vegetarian restaurant that isn't vegan friendly. Nothing is labeled on the menu. Make sure you ask what is vegan or has eggs.
Read moreI asked if an item contained eggs, server said no, I ordered it. He came out later and said actually it only has a little bit of egg and I said no thanks, I am vegan, I don't eat eggs. He said but it's only a little bit and I said no thank you, I will order something else. I asked to see the menu again. He said ok and left. Then he came back with what I ordered and said actually we already made it and it only has a little egg. I was so shocked he did this and so annoyed that I was made to feel bad about wasting food. I had to be strong about my boundaries and said no, I would like to order something else.
I ordered something else and asked about egg and it being vegan.
Overall our food was nothing special. Dry and lacking flavor for sure. This is Seattle where we have lots of amazing vegan options. I would definitely not recommend this place.
Pros: Boba Tea, Coconut (not vegan)
Cons: Kung Pao chicken, Wontons (vegan option) , Lemongrass Tunafish

Bugs in food - Edit
Same as others have mentioned. Used to order here a bunch but started getting bugs in the food. And not just a one time occurrence. Unfortunately can’t recommend anymore.

Needs Improvement - Edit
I ordered the kung pao beef fried rice and it was delicious fried rice. Highly recommend!
Read moreUpdate: 1/11/2023 - the place has deteriorated through the years, IMO. I ordered spring rolls and spicy noodle soup and the spring rolls were the worst I’ve ever had. The tofu wasn’t good. I don’t know if it was old or what. The spicy noodle soup had a very sweet taste and it didn’t work with it at all.

similar to blossom - very average - Edit
I used to live in Beijing where delicious mock meat dishes at Buddhist restaurants abound, and I think it's colored my opinion of comparable restaurants stateside, because again I was really not super impressed with this place. it was fine, just not exceptional. clean, very friendly wait staff, food not too greasy but still relatively flavorful. not overly expensive. but I've had much much better!

Roach in the hot pot - Edit
Yes it’s true. A roach floating in the broth. To be fair it was a baby roach, not a full grown one. But still, how gross. My wife noticed it floating in the hot pot liquid after she’d already eaten most of her dinner. This is the first time in my life that I’ve stormed out of a restaurant without paying.
Read moreThe rest of the dinner was ok I guess. (Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?). Curry was tasty but spiced way too much and the tofu was rubbery. Hot pot was ok except for the wildlife. Service was inept, the server clearly had never gotten basic training.
Overall I’d rate it a B for food but a D- for sanitation. Zero stars.

Love it here. Such a beautiful spot. Vegetarian. Plenty of vegan options. - Edit
Peaceful zen spot across from car wash in the white center strip. Very Buddhist and the menu is full of vegan goodness. One of the monks is truly kind and always goes out of his way to welcome my family. Lots of Vietnamese customers frequent. May it be in White Center forever!
Read morePros: Many many choices. , Staff are vegan aware , Pho is off the hook with that apple based broth.
Cons: Need to have clearly marked vegan items on menu , Mock Ham is NOT vegan. (Whey), Some menu items get lost in translation.

BEST PHO EVER! - Edit
While all the dishes are amazing... The pho is A SHOW STOPPER! All the dishes were very authentic, and very good. Even my non vegan kiddos loved the beef and broccoli.
