Best Vegan Friendly Restaurant in Saratoga - Edit
Multiple vegan choices on menu. Panelle had an excellent flavor. There was a vegan cheesecake, 2 vegan ice creams and 3 sorbets offered as dessert options, that are not on the menu. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially the manager (owner?).

5 Star Vegan Meal - Edit
Scallions was amazing! Amazing service had clearly marked vegan and gluten free options on the menu! Several apps and main meals were available! The ultimate falafel dinner was so good and served with a delicious fresh salad with sprouts and house made vegan gf dressing and vegan naan! My dad had the vegan fried rice with marinaded tofu and loved. Good portion sizes and top quality ingredients! My dad finished with a vegan NY style cheesecake with graham cracker crust! Good wine and cocktail selection!!! Must visit if in Saratoga

Got takeout and enjoyed it - Edit
Was treated to a takeout meal from here by a kind friend. Tasty pasta. Salad kind of mediocre though. Would try again. I appreciated the clearly marked vegan choices.

Vegan items are clearly listed on the menu and the waitstaff are knowledgeable. I had the fried green tomatoes, salad, vegan Naan, and falafel with mashed sweet potato, asparagus and beet topping. Everything was wonderful! Staff was friendly and helpful. Fast service.

Solid Restaurant - Edit
Each time I’ve been to Scallions has been a pleasant experience. Plenty of tasty vegan options and a nice ambiance. Nothing mind-blowing but it’s a solid choice and definitely the most vegan-friendly restaurant in Saratoga I’ve dined at.

Perfect for date night - Edit
Had the best experience here- great food and drinks with HUGE portions- I got the vegan linguine with braised lentils and ratatouille and it was DELICIOUS but I don’t think I finished even an 1/4 of it because the portions were so big 😍

Vegan options - Edit
I used to LOVE scallions. They had 3 vegan appetizers, vegan wraps, a few different salads, and huge vegan entrees. The menu used to be set up so that you could only get the “entrees” after 5pm but the salads and wraps (which are on the lunch menu) were still available, but now only the salads and $20 entrees are available after 5 which is slightly disappointing.

Multiple options for vegan! - Edit
I had braised lentil with portobello mushrooms & my daughter had a tofu and soba noodle dish. Both were yummy. Staff were very nice and attentive. We arrived at 7:40 and saw a sign on four that they closed at 8 (online said 9), but they were happy to seat and serve us. We didn’t feel rushed at all & people arrived after us & they were nice about that as well.

Options - Edit
The menu already has it marked out which items are vegan. A few options for lunch, falafel and hummus wraps and tofu salad to name a few. One option for dinner. It's nice that they have options but they are very basic.

A bit disappointed - Edit
There were no vegan listings on the menu. I ordered the hummus / tabouleh / falafel / salad / naan plate without the shrimp, I asked if everything else was vegan. The waitress said she would ask, but then brought out salad with feta cheese, and some very strange hummus that was not good, and some soggy tabouleh that seemed to have been store bought. Bread was not fresh. Falafel was okay. My husband didn't particularly like his caprese salad (he is vegetarian).

Friendly and Delicious - Edit
We went over the weekend and had a good time. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The menu has a few vegan items. We enjoyed the hummus and crudites for an appetizer. The hummus is homemade and very tasty. For entrees, there were three vegan ones (that i remember) on the menu to pick from: falafel wrap, soba noodle salad with tofu (called "tofu salad" on the menu), a lentil salad. We had the falafel and tofu salad and they were both tasty and fresh. I asked about vegan desserts and she said they had fruit sorbets. I would visit here again. The decor is folk arty and cute.

Great but only one vegan entree - Edit
While I was disappointed that there was only one vegan entree choice, the lentil dish was delicious. The roasted veggie salad was also very tasty. The decor and service were excellent. It was a great choice for our group which was half meat eaters.
