Went here for breakfast. They only had 3 options though all were vegan: chilaquiles, molletes and a smoothie. We ordered the smoothie, a fruit plate and the chilaquiles. All were quite bad. Lacked flavour and ambiance.
I visited this place several times while visiting Mérida. 100% vegan and mostly Mexican dishes - all for about 40 pesos for lunch. The staff are really friendly too, and there's wifi! Try the chilaquiles in the morning - only vegan ones I've found in Mexico.
Love this place! Friendly people, ever-changing menu, some really delicious specialties. I was only able to eat there two days in a row but I you could easily come here for lunch for a week and get something different every time. Sells delicious sandwiches and other items to go, very vegan-friendly.
I agree with the other reviewer - don't get the soup. But the main dish of the day is usually very good, with appropriate Yucateco spiciness. I also usually got the vegetable-filled empanadas. They are sweet, filled with something like squash (but it's not squash, I just don't remember the name).
They also have a nice selection of books you can read, as well as useful pamphlets about the attractions on the area. People here are super friendly.
The only vegetarian restaurant in city centre - Edit
I went here for lunch several times and chose the vegan lunch option. The soup was never that great but the main course more than made up for it. Each time it was a local Mexican inspired vegan dish and very tasty. The drink options were good too. I also liked the raw banana based ice cream you could order separately. Other items like bread and vegan biscuits are also sold here.
Also, the map is wrong. It is actually located on Calle 59 between 54 and 52.
