I loved this place! I got their Renny Dog which was a Chicago style hot dog with a vegan dog and it was just so good. I opted for no tomatos on my dog and that was no problem for the staff! I also got a side of fries with their vegan nacho cheese which was good but definitely had that vegan cheese funk to it as well as the truffle ketchup which was actually great. Everything is clearly labeled vegan or vegetarian and everything can be made vegan. I’ve also tried the vegan pulled pork sandwich and that wad amazing. I will always come back here as long as they’re open!

everything on this menu can be made vegan! they have some of the best fries i’ve ever had, and you get a lot for the price. we got the smallest fries and it was a ton for two people. i got the vegan nacho cheese dip and it was delicious! it’s a cute area as well and you can take your food outside and sit in the courtyard.

Vegan Poutine! - Edit
Really great vegan poutine, not your everyday occurrence. My son and I eat it so quickly that I forgot to take a picture! Reasonably priced, nice enough staff, and a clean facility that feels quite approachable and not particularly corporate. Definitely worth the stop! My son added Sanval, a vegan topping, and he loved it.

They don’t have vegan curds BUT can still get the poutine with plant-based cheese. The mushroom gravy is deliciously and they also offer tons of different vegan dipping sauces. The location is amazing since it’s right in bow market - I’d highly recommend going on Monday night because there’s a weekly trivia (@remnant) a few steps away!

Saus is a go-to for quick, tasty vegan sandwiches and salad bowls. While it’s not 100% vegan, all the vegetarian options can be made vegan with no upcharge!

I came here earlier in the month and was blown away. Not only is the vegan outine good, but they have SO MANY SAUCES!! And man do they have flavor! I grabbed the curry ketchup and it was legitimately curry ketchup, not ketchup with some curry powder in it. Absolutely delicious.

Love the vegan poutine, the sauces, the burger options. Watch out, this place is popular and when it sells out then things are gone for the day. Pretty much everything is vegan or can be made that way. Their fries are boardwalk style and are divine, I ask for mine well done

Read moreI got the vegan BBQ impossible burger and an order of petite fries ( more than enough for one person) For my sauce I chose the truffle ketchup.
Pros:
Really tasty fries
Truffle ketchup was SO GOOD
BBQ sauce on burger was on point
Burger patty was delish
Cons:
This place is super small and the atmosphere is really strange
The vegan cheese on the burger was shredded and it would have been better with a slice instead
The bun was not great- a bit dry
Overall the food here was really yummy!
If I'm in the area I would absolutely stop in and get take out!

When I heard that Saus was expanding to have a vegetarian/vegan location, I was so excited. Vegan poutine is such a rare treat, and it's wonderful to have it locally available. I got mine to go, and was happy to enjoy it from the comfort of my home. The actual storefront is pretty small and quickly got crowded with the incoming dinner rush, but the food prep was still done in a timely manner. My meal was a little pricey, but I didn't mind because A. I got all of the toppings and B. shelling out money for novelty food is okay with me. I think that the only thing that really bothered me was that they don't have a phone number and they don't take cash; hopefully that will change once they're fully up and running! All in all, a tasty and special experience for vegan poutine-loving me.
