Roasted garlic - Edit
Had the vegan calzone. Loved the whole roasted garlic cloves that were in it. Only slightly confusing thing is that the vegan calzone isn’t up on their wall of listed calzones, but they told me they had it and told me what was in it when asked.

Yummy calzone - Edit
I highly enjoyed the vegan calzone. The vegan cheese and fake meats were excellent imitations. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor area, perfect since I brought my pup!

Can’t Go Wrong with a Vegan Calzone - Edit
Idk why it’s called Skinny because it is not lol. Green peppers, whole roasted garlic cloves, onions, vegan pepperoni, vegan sausage, and Vevan vegan mozz. I’m not sure if the calzone is topped with oil or butter, but it was shiny so may want to ask. Ample amounts of everything and absolutely delicious. Spicy red sauce could have been spicier. I order an extra side of sauce because I’m saucy but the one that comes with it would probably be enough for most people.

Vegan calzones! - Edit
This was a surprising option a block away from my hotel! From the Google reviews, it seemed 50/50 whether they actually had vegan options. Looking at the main menu inside, it looks like there are no vegan options, but you can actually make any vegetarian calzone vegan by subbing vegan cheese or you can build your own calzone.
Read moreThey also had a small paper sign next to the checkout advertising the Skinny V, which is a fully vegan calzone with vegan cheese, sausage, and pepperoni! I'm guessing it's a recent addition to the menu, because I did not see reviews for it online.
I had the Skinny V, and it was delicious, filling, and cooked perfectly. There was nothing skinny about it! It came with a mildly spicy but very flavorful red sauce.
Pros: Vegan cheese, sausage, and pepperoni available, Just sub vegan cheese to make any veg option vegan, Can build your own - choose from lots of veggies!
Cons: The main menu does not mention the vegan options

I love Sauce on the Side! - Edit
Any time I'm downtown for lunch, I try to make time to eat at Sauce on the Side. The food is fast and delicious, the beer selection is great, and the patio is the perfect spot to sit and relax. They also have a location in the Grove, which I have not been to yet.
