There is a large buffet with soup, salad & ~20 delicious hot dishes. Everyone can load up on plates of different sizes according to their hunger level. Warning: your plate will always be too small because there is such an appealing selection, you will want to try everything. Needless to say: all vegan!
Read moreYou pay at the counter and can leave at any time afterwards without having to ask for a bill. Neat for a quick bite. In the summer also a great place to sit outside and socialize.
You can be unlucky at peak times, because: not so much space inside and also relatively small buffet trays (which are regularly refilled though).

Lovely place but very small, busy times its a short/long wait to fill your plate. Nice dishes, mixdd flavours but everything needs to be fresh/ not overdate to get more stars in my opinion. Soups are definiatly my favourites.

We were at Sattgrün for the first time. The concept is simple: you take a plate, a bowl or a to-go container and fill it with all kinds of delicious food. It starts with a great choice of three soups. Then there are several great vegan / plane-based dishes: tofu in curry, tofu in peanut sauce, sliced (not) meat, noodles, breaded cauliflower, mushrooms, potatoes, corn stalks and stroganov.

If you looking for nice food for your sweet tooth afterwards, you should definitely try the cake and coffee there. Especially the peanut butter chocolate cake and carrot and walnut cake are recommended for vegans and plant-based people in Düsseldorf.
Definitely go eat in Flingern, the team is super nice and accommodating. The only negative aspect: no internet. Otherwise I would be with you all day long!

Sattgrün never disappoints! The prices are unbeatable for what you get: a fresh and delicious buffet. There is soup as a starter available. Then there’s the buffet section: many warm dishes with amazing flavors. Some favorites are soy chunks in peanut sauce, soy gyros, marinated mushrooms and much more. There’s also a salad section with freshly prepared salads such as red cabbage, carrot, potato etc. Their tzatziki sauce is so good as well! They also have amazing bread for the soup or salad, plus you shouldn’t skip on one of their homemade vegan cakes!

Probably the best vegan food we've ever had in a restaurant! The flavors of the different dishes were very tasty and well balanced. Normally there is always something you don't like at a buffet, but that was absolutely not the case now. Everything was super flavorful.
