Durch das Buffet-Konzept kann man sehr individuell entscheiden, wie man sich das Essen zusammenstellt - ungewöhnlich für ein Buffet ist allerdings, dass man sich den Teller nur einmal füllen darf. Das ist schade, weil man vorab gar nicht weiß, was einem gut schmeckt.

Nicht überzeugend ist leider die Toilette, die könnte sauberer sein.

This branch is a bit smaller than the other one I have been at, but I like the atmosphere. It was a bit quieter and less crowded. The food tasted nice, nothing out of the ordinary but very solid and tasty. The mint tea was made fresh and tasted great.
Read moreTheir buffet area is also a bit smaller and it gets a bit tight, so maybe not the most disability friendly. Im not exactly sure, but I think despite being a smaller location the selection of food was the same as in other sattgrüns.
If you want to try a bunch of different vegan dishes or a indecisive, definetely check this place out.

So hard to decide what to choose! I could have eaten there every day. Everything was very tasty, fresh and well prepared. Staff was nice. Nice selections of deserts too and hot drinks.

Essen ist lecker. Personal auch freundlich. Nur hier gefällt mir das Konzept nicht. Man darf sich nur ein Teller nehmen und diesen voll machen. Wenn man jedoch zum ersten Mal da ist, weis man noch nicht was einem gefällt. Hinzu kommt, dass dann alle Gerichte auf einem Teller gemischt sind, was ich persönlich auch nicht mag. Barzahlung möglich.

Ich kann das Sattgrün nur empfehlen. Das Buffet war der Himmel und es ist auch super beschriftet mit allen Inhaltsstoffen und Allergenen. Wenn ich nochmal in Köln bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall vorbei!

Alles war total lecker! 😍 Man kann sich den Teller echt voll machen wie man will und das hab ich getan, hab alles probiert und es war wirklich alles total lecker. Auch die Kuchen waren echt lecker, wir hatten den Schoko-Erdnuss & den Zitronen Kuchen. Und das Personal war einfach Mega nett! Der ganze Laden ist eine große Empfehlung 🌱

Not finding it easy to be vegan in Cologne so stumbling on Sattgrun was very welcome. Buffet style set up which means you create your own meal from a wide range of hot and cold options. A tad expensive but worth it.

Wide variety of vegan options in a chic setting - Edit
Was here with a vegan friend and was pleasantly surprised by the variety in options. There were so many types of salads, pasta, rice lentils, vegetables, dressings, stir fries and other options. There were hot and cold options. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The pricing is decided based on the size of the plate you choose. Cool buffet concept. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t believe how busy it was to start which we knew was a great sign. A bit of a wait for the buffet but worth it because the food was SO GOOD. Lots of fresh and colourful salads and hot dishes. The chefs never let the buffet fall empty it was regularly replenished. It’s no longer pay by weight but a set price for the size of the plate that you choose which I prefer. So many delicious dishes. Lots of meat alternatives which are not usually my thing but the soy curls were maybe the best thing there. The tofu was lovely too. Great service as well. I’d say if you want cake, order it when you get to the counter or you have to wait in the long buffet queue again. In Germany , however, they seem to like having lots of open buffets which can mean there are a few flies and I don’t love this but if you can see past it, it’s worth it.

Bevor ich meine Reise nach Köln begonnen habe, erstellte ich mithilfe dieser App eine Liste mit veganen Restaurants, die ich besuchen würde. Angefangen habe ich mit Sattgrün. Und dieser Besuch machte Lust auf mehr: Ich habe meinen Teller mit diversen Gerichten befüllt und jedes davon hat äußerst lecker geschmeckt. Die hohen Bewertungen auf Google und HappyCow kann ich durchaus unterstreichen. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Restaurant in Köln.
