Serves meat, vegan options available. Japanese restaurant. Has a few vegetarian and vegan options including tofu, noodle, and seaweed soup. The only vegan dishes on the menu are the vegetable sushi and edamame. Note: Reported that the noodle/tofu soup is not vegan as the stock contains fish sauce, and they were unable to create an alternative. The vegetable noodle dish is not vegan as the batter on the vegetables contains eggs and the stock contains fish sauce. The staff found it hard to answer questions and were unhelpful in making dishes without fish sauce. They said variants were not possible as they would not taste good. Open Mon-Tue 12:00-14:30, Mon-Thu 18:30-21:30, Wed-Fri 12:00-14:00, Fri-Sat 18:30-22:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-14:30, Sun 18:30-21:30.

Many vege options - Edit
The restaurant is really nice, very clean and the waiters are kind and welcoming. They offer many vege options.
Read moreMy tempura was however very insipid. I’ve added soja sauce trying to remedy to the issue but some vegetables weren’t even cooked. My boyfriend who had meat was however very satisfied so I guess it’s just that they might not be specialized/used to cook vegetables in a meal (?) in any case, it wasn’t heavy on the stomach and you can also try their Japanese toilets which is quite an experience ! Even if not a culinary one.
Pros: Many vege options , Welcoming staff, Honest prices
Cons: Raw, insipid dish (vege tempura)

Able to accommodate vegans - Edit
In Jan 2024, there are clearly labelled allergens on the menu and staff were able to swap the stock with fish in it for a vegetable stock. We told them we couldn’t eat foods containing fish and dairy or eggs and staff were very accommodating so it seems things have changed.
Read moreWe had hijiki seaweed, tofu salad, edamame and udon with tofu/wakame. We also had the one dessert which didn’t contain any animal allergens. Very busy, book a table!
Pros: Decently priced, Allergens on menu
Cons: No clearly labelled vegan options

Good meal, but challenging - Edit
I came to this restaurant excited at the prospect of being able to enjoy miso soup, and noodle soup with vegetables and tofu. Unfortunately, finding vegan food was much harder than I anticipated.
Read moreThe miso soup contained fish sauce, and they said they were unable to make it without. The stock for the noodle soup contained fish sauce too, and the vegetable noodle soup contained eggs. Again they said there unable to make without. The Agedaishi and seaweeed appetizers were made with beef/fish stock and they also said they were unable to make without.
We ended up eating vegetable/tofu cutlets (they said they did not contain eggs, but had a very egg like texture), edamame (which they said did not contain fish sauce) and vegetable sushi.
Overall all the food we had was delicious, but it was disappointing going in thinking that we were going to be able to enjoy lots of vegan dishes, only to find out everything we originally wanted to order was not vegan friendly and difficult to make it so.
Pros: Good edamame, Nice sushi
Cons: Hard to communicate with staff, Unclear what dishes are vegan friendly
