Nope.

The people who run this restaurant lack education regarding the covid mask guidelines (aka mandate). I would encourage them to take a moment to read it in it’s entirety.. it’s not very lengthy, shouldn’t be too challenging.

Individuals with particular health conditions are exempt from the “requirement” to wear a mask. Therefore, it is unlawful to refuse service to someone who is unable to wear a face mask. The governor has even issued a statement recently asking businesses to PLEASE stop harassing those who must remain maskless. This harassment and refusal of service is known as discrimination. (FYI in addition, it is unlawful to inquire about what their particular ailment is).

Also, please advise your servers to stop attempting to impersonate a doctor. When my husband politely told the server that his health condition prevented him from wearing a mask, the server laughed and told him that people with health conditions need a mask even more than a normal healthy individual. I am genuinely perplexed at the sheer ignorance of some individuals (I’m desperately attempting to find an alternative to the word ‘stupidity’.. ignorance it is).

Please. Do some deeper research. There is absolutely no scientific basis to this narrative of asymptomatic spread. Even for those without health conditions, I assure you, the mask does more harm than good. Delve deeper into Germ Theory vs Terrain Theory. Louis Pasteur vs Antoine Béchamp. Koch’s Postulates. Now off you go, enjoy the hours of research ahead of you. You’re welcome.

P.S. we enjoyed our dinner across the street at Mizza since we weren’t welcome at Satellite. They had amazing GF Vegan options and were intelligent enough to know that we were within our rights to dine without a mask.

Pros: The menu looked good.. , Wish we could have tried the food.

Cons: They discriminate., Think they’re qualified to offer health advice.
