Nice food - Edit
Hearty Indian food. Nothing beats Food O'Clock in Bendigo. But this is a good back up option. Balcony is a good spot to dine in nice weather. Baby high chair was grotty. We will bring our own next time.

Service a little odd and food not quite right - Edit
So the service is weird, we have been a few times, and if you don’t order an entree, you still ‘have to have’ entree plates, and then when we said the entree plates are fine for our mains, they said they ‘have to take them and give mains plates’ - ok sure, that’s a waste of washing plates!
Read moreIf you ask about the food, or ingredients, they really don’t know, one tried to tell me their paneer was vegan, I think she was confused with gluten free. It’s not vegan.
Their meals are just a bit bland for me.
And I specifically don’t order rice, and on two occasions rice turned up and I said no, and they said ‘we have to’ and yes, they charged me for it! They actually charged per person for rice, even though it was just 1 plate, there was 10 of us one time.
The balcony is nice, but the furnishings out there are weathered and crusty.
Inside still feels like the Greek restaurant from the 1980’s.
The steps up are a little difficult for elderly or mobility impaired, there is quite a few steps.
My advice, go to curry garden downstairs, better food by a long way, far better service.
Cons: Staff don’t really understand what vegan means, Not many vegan options, Lots of steps up/down
