Worst curry ever! - Edit
Thought we’d try Saravana Bhavan on Saturday through Uber Eats. We called beforehand saying we needed it to be vegan and was advised to put a note on the app. Through some sort of Uber Eats mess up they didn’t receive the note and loads of our food arrived with Ghee in so we couldn’t eat it.

Ordered some Medu Vada (lentil doughtnuts) that were cold, stodgy, seemingly cooked ages go and quite probably reheated multiple times. We also received a spring roll that had definitely been cooked multiple times and so was stale that it was inedible and we had to spit it out after 1 bite. The chapatis we received were stale, hard and snapped.
The rest of the food looked like absolute slop. When we spoke to them they said they only cook 10% of the food, I imagine the figure could be even less than that. They were really unhelpful when we called and didn’t even have the decency to apologise when we spoke to them.
The worst curry I’ve ever seen.

Tried to rate it one star but the website forces you to add an extra star because it’s a vegetarian restaurant. It’d probably actually worth less than 1 star.
Pros: It didn’t kill us 🤷♂️

Food was Great, had their Signature Thali plate, great Aromas, helpful staff Walking around asking If you liked refills on the various Curry dishes for free. Can't undstand poor comments, highly recommended. Reasonable price.

Saravana Bhavan is a very good fast food restaurant in Central Croydon, very near George St tram stop. The food is excellent and the menu extensive. Portions are quite generous.
