I ordered a la carte and the food and drink was great. A couple of items had sold out but otherwise a similar experience to other branches worldwide.

Not for vegan

The staff doesn't seem sure what vegan is, and ended up only offering a quick lunch formula (even though it was dinner). The menu offers no indication of vegan choices, unlike the Saravana Bhavan in Hong Kong. We passed and headed for a different place.

Pros: Vegetarian menu

Cons: No (reliable) vegan option

Thali

I had an OK time here but the staff didn't know what vegan was, and said the Thali wasn't possible to be made without ghee. Overall pretty tasty, a bit too spicy for my liking

Pros: Good taste for most things

Cons: Wasn't possible to make it vegan , Average service

Vegan Thali set

The Syed Alwi outlet is the only Saravana Bhavan in Singapore that offers the vegan Thali set. They can also do it allium-free.

Pros: Delicious Vegan Thali

Cons: The only outlet offering that option

Confirmed Open

Menu is South Indian, prepared freshly. They also sell North Indian sweets (mithai). 4 hours open but menu limited in the night.
