This is a friendly spot with welcoming service and plenty of options. We were given a small rice dish alongside our drinks, which was a nice touch.
For food, we went with nachos and a sandwich. The nachos were deconstructed—personally, I’d have preferred the toppings layered on and a quick heat-up, but they were still tasty. My seitan, aubergine, and cheese sandwich was excellent, made even better by the fantastic bread (because great bread makes a great sandwich!).
We wrapped things up with a couple of glasses of local wine before dashing for the bus. I’d love to come back on a sunny day and enjoy the outdoor seating.

We got there to have a couple of drinks and some tapas. Got welcomed with a delicious tapa, I believe it was cucumber or zucchini on toast. So flavorful. We also had croquettes and got a pizza to go (no pics unfortunately). All pretty delicious. The funnest part was how trusting they were. We sat outside and found it great that they didn’t even care much for us. Just came over every half hour to check if we needed more, but didn’t hover over us at all. Maybe it’s cultural, but in the US or Brazil, they would be all over you expecting that it would just dash without paying if left alone for too long haha. Staff was great. Cool vibes. Such a busy street with cute dogs walking around too.

I went here for dinner as I wanted to try vegan versions of traditional Spanish tapas. I ordered the calamari and tortilla (Spanish omelette). Both were delicious, and very generous portions for a starter! I was also given an extra bite which I think was marinated leek on bread. I was going to order some patatas bravas too, but the waitress advised that it would be too much food for one person!

I was transiting through Madrid and found this was the nearest Vegan restaurant to Atocha Station. The staff were friendly and welcoming, helped me with allergies. I tried the dish of the day, a lentil stew. Their portions are enormous. They veganise many traditional Spanish tapas such as squid. They offer many fresh juices and kombuchas. They even sell vegan t-shirts.

Really generous portions in a relaxed setting with some classic tapas. The free leek on toast tapa was absolutely exquisite. The bravas and pimientos were also really nice and very big portions. The empanada was ok, but a bit odd tasting, and the sandwich was too big and not very interesting. So a bit of a mixed bag! But I think maybe we were just unlucky in what we ordered.
