Great vegan tacos! - Edit
I have been here twice already on my Berlin visits and the first time around I had a burrito which I didn't really like, but the second time I had the vegan soft tacos and let me tell you, they are just so amazing!
Read moreI was really sceptical the 2nd time around, but these totally convinced me of the place! They are very simple, but the marinade on the vegan meat is awesome, the combination with the pickled onions and the pico de gallo works very well and the two salsas they have are also delicious. I will definitely go again!

Mexican food in Kreuzberg - Edit
Great atmosphere and food is a 7/10 for me?! I do think they’re overpriced, to balance out we got happy our classic margaritas for a fiver and that was a treat. Menu is also not so great for vegans, they pretty much have 3 vegan options if I am not mistaken?

Disappointing - Edit
Food was ok but quite boring. All the foods seemed to have the same filling which was really lame. On top of this it didn’t even taste that good.

Good but not the best - Edit
Was a different type of burrito. I missed the rice and avo. But over all it was pretty good :)

Solid! - Edit
Came for taco Tuesday and got their veggie tacos, which are a chickpea and eggplant combo. Good taste, but almost end up coming off as a Mexican-Indian fusion than strictly Mexican. Their guac is really tasty too!

overpriced - Edit
I had a vegan burrito, which tasted ok but I definitely had better burritos before. I paid 8,50€ for a small burrito (large burrito is 10€) which I think is way too much. However, the vegan and vegetarian food was clearly marked on the menu which is nice.

Delicious but difficult to find a place to sit - Edit
The food is delicious without a doubt (e.g. try the vegan burrito). But it is always difficult to find a place to sit. So either bring time or have another idea too where to have food... And: if you are annoyed of the smell of meat, its maybe not your place....

Tasty and Nice staff - Edit
Was here for lunch. Not as busy as nighttime. Had a vegan burrito. If they had the Vegan cheese option this would definitely get 5 star (so many vegan cheese options so why not have this as an option?). However super tasty

great food, just one downside - Edit
The vegan and veggie options were clearly marked, we had a very friendly waitress and what we chose (burrito and vegan chorizo) was very nice and definitely reasonably priced... The only downside was that my friend's burrito arrived 15 minutes before my dish with no explanation as to why. That put a bit of a damper on an otherwise great experience.

cocktails!! - Edit
Went on a Saturday night and was really busy as expected. Just a couple of vegan choices, I had the alambres which was nice but not a big portion. Scrambled soy chorizo/tofu with Small tortillas. No garnishes, extras etc so build your extras in if you're starving. Nice frozen cocktails are chilli mango margarita and strawberry.. plus lots of other non frozens.

Yumm!! - Edit
We went here on my brother-in-law's suggestion and it was great. I really enjoyed the Alambre de Verduras that was served with chickpea tofu(Burmese tofu). The flavours were great. It was super crowded so we had to wait for a table for about 20 minutes(we were 6), but it was worth it. The cocktails are also tasty!

Great food, go there early in the evening - Edit
i ate here a few years ago. Since I'm not from Berlin - or Germany at all - I'm not very often in the neighbourhood. I've visited Berlin last week with my boyfriend and wanted to eat at Santa Maria again, because we ate like a king and queen there! Unfortunately all the tables and the bar were taken. Well, I guess that says it all. The food is great! If you want to eat here, you have to be on time to get a table.

Good food, small portions - Edit
I have been here a couple of times and although the food is tasty, I don't think it represents great value given the size of the portions.
Read moreIf you fancy trying it out, have a plan B as it's often busy. I would recommend the vegan burritos.
Pros: tasty food
